Tai's POV
"I love you too," Mya tells me. I don't want to leave, but my mom told me to get home like right now. I have no idea what it is, I just hope my mom is okay.
Mya's POV
I wonder why Tai had to leave so quickly. I walk into my house and immediately spot my mom. She's in the kitchen, as usual. She looks at me for a split second before turning around again. I rush up to my room and I bump into Tré.
"How's your eye?" I ask him. He removes the ice pack from his eye to show me. It's still swollen. It looks horrible, but I don't tell him that.
"I'm going to lay down," he tells me and I nod. Then he disappears into his room.
I go into my room and take a shower. After that, I put on some black shorts and one of Tai's shirts. I turn the TV to Sam & Cat and lay back on my bed. I end up on a three way call with Gabby and Marlon. We all eventually fall asleep talking.
Tai's POV
I get home and rush inside. I walk in and see my mom sitting on the couch. She looks up at me with a worried look on her face.
"Mama what's wrong?" I ask. She looks down at her hands and then back to me.
"Tai...."she trails off. I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around quickly.
The man standing before me looks oddly familiar. He kinda looks like me....and then the thought hits me...
"Hey son," he says before I can fully process what's happening. I immediately feel the anger starting to consume me.
