It's been a couple weeks since I've spoken to Tai and everyday has been filled with pain.

I miss him. I'm guessing that he's still angry because he hasn't tried to contact me at all. I stopped calling because I didn't want to bother him.

"You okay?" Danny asks. "Not really," I reply. "Well I know how to cheer you up," he says. "My buddy Carter is throwing a party tonight and I think you should come. You know, get out of the house."

"I don't know..."

"Come on. It'll be fun."

"Fine," I surrender. He smiles and walks away while I get back to my designs.

I ask Marlon to come with me to the party since I probably won't know anyone. I go to my room and find something to wear. I'm not really in a party mood so I just pick out dark skinny jeans, a hot pink tank top with my black cardigan, and my black and white Adidas.

I meet Marlon in the living room. He's wearing blue jeans, a plain black shirt, and black Chucks. He drives us to the place where Danny told us to go.

We pull up to a huge mansion-like house. I can already see people passing out everywhere. We walk in and spot Danny. He introduces us to Carter.

Carter is skinny and extremely pale, but very good looking. He has bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. He shakes our hands and introduces us to his girlfriend, Brittany. She's really pretty. She has dark brown skin and light brown eyes. Her head is filled with wild curls, which Carter says he loves.

We make our way to the living room where a group of drunk people are playing Spin the Bottle. "Here you go," Danny says, handing me a cup. "I don't drink," I tell him as I hand it back to him. "Okay. I'll go see if I can find some soda." I nod and he heads back to the kitchen.

He comes back later with some orange soda. Marlon and I just sit awkwardly on the couch, watching how stupid people can get when they drink.

Marlon goes to the bathroom and Danny comes to sit next to me. "I think I'm gonna go home. I'm feeling a little sleepy," I tell him. "No. Don't go. You can go sleep in the guest room."

Tai'sPOV

I haven't talked to Mya in weeks. I was supposed to visit today.

It's been hard without her. I'm lonely with no one to talk to. The girls at school have been all over me lately, but instead of pushing them away like I usually do, I just let them touch me. I don't care about anything anymore.

I even invited that peppy blonde, whatever her name is, over. I wanted to get my mind off of Mya. I couldn't though and I couldn't handle that girl touching me. I wouldn't let her kiss me and I threw up all over her as soon as she tried to unzip my pants.

Right now I'm just standing in front of the mirror, staring at my tattoo of Mya's name. I don't regret getting it, even after what happened. I love her and I feel like my body belongs to her and only her. Maybe I should've stayed that night to hear what she had to say.

I grab my phone to call Mya, but my phone rings before I can tap her name. It's Marlon.

"Hello?"

"Tai?" he says frantically. He's breathing hard.

"Yeah? It's okay. Calm down and tell me what's wrong." I can tell that he's having an anxiety attack right now. He has them a lot.

"It's Mya. We're at a party and I went to the bathroom, and when I came back, she was gone."

"Have you tried calling her?" I ask. "Yeah but she left her phone on the couch."

At this point I start to panic. Mya never leaves her phone laying around, especially when she goes to someone else's house.

"I'm on my way there okay?" I say as I run to my car. "Yeah. I'll keep looking for her," he says before hanging up.

...

I was shaking the whole time on the plane. The lady sitting next to me thought I was having a seizure. I thought of all the possible things that could happen to her. I know I'm only worrying myself but I can't help it.

I get to the house that Marlon told me to come to. I practically jump out of the car and almost forget to pay the cab driver. I run at full speed into the house. I push past people and a couple fall over, but I don't care.

I search everywhere. I feel like giving up, but I know I can't. I walk up the stairs and check every single room, not caring who I disturb. I come to a room at the end of the hall and open the door.

I walk in to see three guys passed out on the floor, Mya sprawled across the bed, and Marlon sitting next to her with bloody knuckles.
