"What about this one?" Gabby asks, holding up an ugly dress. "Uh....no," I tell her. "You're right. This dress is ugly," she says, making a face. I laugh and go back to looking at dresses.

"I found the perfect dress!" Marlon exclaims. "You're welcome."

My eyes go wide and my mouth flies open when he holds up the dress. It's perfect!

It's a long, sleeveless dress with glitter all over. And it's so white that I'm scared to even let it touch the floor. It sparkles from every angle and so does the veil.

I jump on Marlon and hug him. "I knew you'd love it," he says. "It's perfect!" I tell him. Gabby walks back in and her eyes light up when she sees the dress. "Where did you find that?" she asks. "Marlon found it," I tell her.

"I guess you have taste after all," she says, slapping his arm. "Go try it on Mya, so we can see how hot you look in it." I roll my eyes and laugh before going into the dressing room.

The dress is a perfect fit. I walk out of the dressing room to show Gabby and Marlon. As soon as I walk out, they start to cheer and whistle. I laugh as all eyes are suddenly on us and Marlon asks a lady what she's looking at.

"So is this the dress you want?" the dress shop owner asks with a smile. I nod and her smile widens as she escorts me to the register.

I decide to let Gabby keep the dress so Tai won't go snooping.

"Tai I'm home!" I yell as I enter the apartment. He rushes from the kitchen and hugs me. "Thank God you're here. Where were you?"

"Shopping..... Is something burning in here?"

"Yeah... I was trying to cook something for us," he says. I swear Tai is the worst cook I've ever seen. I laugh and hug him. "It's okay." He smiles and kisses my head. "So should we just order pizza or something?"

"Yeah," I giggle.

When the pizza finally arrives, we sit on the couch and talk. "I can't wait until the wedding," Tai says. "Me either," I say, wiping sauce from his cheek.

"I'm ready for you to finally be Mrs. Mya Baxter." He kisses me and lays his head on my lap while we talk for the rest of the night.

Two Weeks Later

Tai's POV

"So how you feeling?" Ronnie asks me while fixing his tie.

"I'm nervous as hell," I tell him. "What if she changes her mind? What if she doesn't show up at the alter?"

He chuckles. "Now why would she change her mind?" he asks. I sigh. "I don't know."

"Just calm down," he says, patting my back. I take a deep breath, trying to adjust this damn tie before following him outside.

I walk across Tré and Chantel's backyard that has been beautifully decorated. I walk up to the alter where Pastor John is standing with a huge grin on his face. I shake his hand. "It's alright son. Calm down," he chuckles. I know it's obvious that I'm nervous. I'm shaking and sweating. Pastor John leaves and comes back with a cup of lemonade. "Thanks," I tell him. He nods and gets into position. I feel my heart rate speed up as the music starts to play.

Bridesmaids and groomsmen start to strut across the yard. When I see the maid of honor and best man, Gabby and Ronnie, I know that it's time. Ronnie winks at me when he reaches the alter and Gabby gives me a big smile. Then everyone stands up and look towards the house.

Tré emerges from the backdoor with Mya on his arm. She looks absolutely breathtaking! Her dress is sparking, making her glow, as if God himself is shining a spotlight on her.

My heart beats faster and faster as she gets closer to me. She finally gets to the alter and Tré gives her away.

I stare down into those dark, sparkling eyes that are looking up at me. Pastor John starts talking. I hear him, but at the same time, I don't because I'm so focused on Mya

After what seems like an eternity, Mya and I finally say our vows and I do's.

"You may now kiss the bride," Pastor John says. I don't hesitate to grab Mya's waist and pull her as close to me as possible. I see the tears streaming down her cheeks as she brings her hand to my face to wipe mine. My lips connect with hers and I feel the strongest spark that I've ever felt while kissing her. This moment takes me back to the night when I got out of juvy, and Mya confessed her love for me. We were both crying like we are now, and I know that my love for her has grown immensely since then, and it continues to grow every day.

Everyone's cheering gets louder as Mya and I walk down the aisle together.

...

We walk over to the reception and hear speeches from Gabby, Tré, Marlon, and Ronnie.

After that, I lead Mya to the dance floor as the music starts to play. All of Me by John Legend blasts through the speakers. Mya's eyes light up.

"I remember this song," she says as her arms wrap around my neck. I chuckle. "I thought you'd like it." She rests her head on my shoulder as we sway back and forth.

"I love you," I whisper into her ear. She looks into my eyes and smiles. "I love you too. More than anything." I smile and kiss her while lifting her up. Everyone is cheering around us, but in my mind, we're the only ones in this yard.

"Get over here and cut the cake!" Gabby yells. Mya smiles and rolls her eyes before leading me to the table.

Marlon hands her a big knife. I rest my hands on top of hers as we cut the cake. We cut a large piece. Mya takes a chunk of it and smudges it against my cheek.

"Oh no you didn't," I say, making her giggle. Then I grab an even bigger chunk and smudge it all over her face. She starts to laugh hysterically and so does everyone around us. I kiss her, smearing the cake from her face onto mine.

"This cake is good!" we exclaim at the same time after pulling away.

Everyone starts to eat, and Mya and I go to our table. We have a table set in the middle of the yard surrounded by everyone else's tables.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Mya asks, catching me smiling at her.

"Cause this is just so perfect," I say. She smiles and feeds me some cake.

The rest of the night is filled with eating, more dancing, and me enjoying my beautiful bride.
