I rush over to the bed and try to wake Mya.
"Mya wake up! Please! Wake up," I say frantically while shaking her. I look over to Marlon. He's breathing hard and tears are flowing down his face. "Why won't she wake up?" I ask him.
"I think Danny drugged her," he says. "He's the only person she took a drink from."
"Where is he?" I ask. He motions towards the floor. I look down and see Danny on the floor, his face covered in blood along with the other two guys. "Did you do this?"
Marlon looks at the three guys and nods. "I had to. When I walked in, they had her completely naked and they were touching her. I had to protect her."
I look down at Mya. "Where are her clothes?" I ask. He shrugs. "I couldn't find them, so I covered her with my jacket."
"Thanks for protecting her," I tell him. He nods again. "So what do we do?"
"I don't know. This stuff usually lasts a long time." I tell him. "What kind of drink did he give her?"
"It was orange soda I think. Why?"
"Because if he would've gave her alcohol with the drug in it,....... she could've died," I tell him. I remembered learning that in high school. Most of the time when date rape drugs are mixed with alcohol, it can cause a lot of problems that may lead to death.
"Well I'm glad that she turned away the alcohol he tried to give her," he says. My blood starts to boil at the thought of what might've happened if she took the alcohol. If she would have and something happened to her, I'd probably be arrested for murder.
"We should take her home," Marlon tells me. I nod and lift Mya off of the bed. I carry her downstairs where almost everyone is passed out on the floor. We walk out of the house and go towards Mya's car. Marlon drives while I sit in the back, holding Mya.
We get to the apartment. Marlon washes and puts bandages on his knuckles while I run Mya a bath. I put her in and watch as she tries to move her arms. Her eyes are open now and she's staring at me, without saying a word. I try my best to get her clean. I want to rid her body of their touch.
I start to clean her neck and as I pull her hair back, I notice red marks all over her. They're all over her neck, chest, and thighs. The tears start to flow from my eyes as I scan her body.
"Tai?" she says softly. Her eyes are starting to close again. "Yeah? I'm right here," I assure her.
"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," she says, slurring her words. I chuckle at the way she's talking. "Why are you laughing?"
" 'Cause you sound like you're drunk." She gives me a weak and goofy smile. I laugh again before getting her out and wrapping a towel around her.
I lay her down on her bed and go to find something for her to wear.
"Tai," she says. I can hear fear in her voice. I turn around quickly and rush towards her. She's breathing hard and she has a worried look on her face. "Tai. I can't move," she says frantically. "Calm down okay? Its gonna be alright." I touch her head and she's burning up.
"Marlon!" I yell as loud as I can. He rushes into the room. "Get her some ice." He nods and runs out of the room.
He comes back a few minutes later with an icepack. I rest it on her head.
She calms down and I finish dressing her. I decide to just put some shorts and a plain black T-shirt on her. Her breathing is still heavy and she's panicking, so I have to constantly remind her that she'll be fine.
"Is she okay?" Marlon says, walking into the room. "Yeah," I tell him as I look down at her. She's sleeping now and her breathing has returned to normal.
I sit on the bed and lean back on the headboard, holding Mya against my body. I gently rub the red marks on her neck, hoping and praying that I can make them go away.
