Today was the day that I would be leaving for Cali and I wasn't just excited but I was nervous. This would be the first time I would be flying and the first time that I've ever traveled across the country. In life you always have a perception of how things, people, and places are because of the stuff you see or hear but you never truly know until you experience it for yourself. I was excited to see if California was worth what all the hype is about and what opportunities it might open for me.

"Hey Bri you ready to go Mya said the car is outside?" I walked into Briana's room.

Yeah I just have to put my wallet in my purse and we can roll. She grabbed her wallet and we made our way downstairs.

"So are you ready for your first day on the job?"

Hell yeah I don't think you could have chosen a better assistant. Are you ready for Cali? We made our way towards the car and the driver got out grabbing our bags.

"The question is if Cali is ready for me?" I opened the door getting in.

That's what I'm talking about. She laughed.

Good morning ladies how are you? Mya said scooting down.

"Good." We said in unison.

Good, so Yasmine there's a party tonight if you feel up to going if not you don't have to but there will be some big people there. Mya said winking at me.

"I'll think about it most likely I'll go." The driver got in the car and we made our way to the airport.

We arrived to the airport and checked in our luggage and kept our backpacks and purses and went to go wait since our flight didn't leave for another half an hour.

I'm about to grab some food do you guys want anything? Mya asked.

Yeah I'll come with you I still have a couple questions. Yas you want anything? Briana asked.

"A bottle of water is fine." She nodded and they walked off.

I turned up my music and put my hood on attempting to go to sleep because I was still tired. I was super excited and nervous last night so I went to sleep later than I would've liked. As I started drifting off my phone began to ring and I took it out of my pocket sliding the answer button over.

"Hello?"

Good morning baby girl I didn't think you would answer what you doing?

"I'm at the airport waiting for my flight how about you?"

I just woke up a little bit ago but wanted to talk to you since I'll be pretty busy tonight. Where you going?

"I'll be in Los Angeles for about a week and a half doing shoots and stuff."

Oh word? He said with a funny facial expression.

"Yeah." I laughed. "Why'd you make that face?"

No reason at all. He smiled. I'm happy for you though we about to be the next Beyonce and Jay Z. We laughed.

"So how many more shows do you have?" I sighed.

Not that many and then I'll be home and you'll be one of the first people I see I promise.

"It feels like you've been gone for a year or something." He laughed.

Don't worry you'll see me sooner than you think baby.

"Yeah I know." I smiled and seen Mya and Briana coming back over.
