Boy: "Nate"
Me: "what?"
Boy: "my name is Nate."
Me: "okay."
The bells rang. I put my books to my bag and started walking to my locker. I opened the locker and took my English books. When I closed the door I saw Nate standing there and leaning against one of the lockers.
Me: "what do you want?"
Nate: "I was thinking if you wanted to go out some day?"
Me: "I'm not interested. I have a boyfriend."
Nate: "Marcus?"
Me: "what? No."
Nate: "who then?"
Me: "why do you care?"
Nate: "cause you're pretty."
Me: "well he is from New York."
Nate: "he doesn't have to know..."
Marcus: "Nate, you heard her. She isn't interested."
Nate: "See you around Jessica."
Nate walked away.
Marcus: "are you okay?"
Me: "yeah."
Marcus: "we have English together. Do you want to sit next to me?"
Me: "yes, please."
We walked to the class and sat to the back. The same girl that sat next to Marcus at the math class came to our place.
Girl: "what the hell are you doing?"
Me: "sitting."
Girl: "on my place."
Marcus: "we don't have our own places Shayla."
She walked away. Her whole face was red. The teacher came to the class.
Teacher: "we are going to start doing a project. I will give you all a partner and you need to do a pover point about each other. Write down as many facts as you can. Get to know each other. You have two weeks time to work with this project."
Grate no one wants to be my partner. I'm the weird new kid. I hope I will be Marcus' partner, cause he is the only one who I know.
Teacher: "the partners are................Marcus and Shayla.............. Jessica and......"
Marcus POV//
I hope I will be Jessica' partner, cause I really want to get to know her better. The teacher started to say the names. Then I heard my name and... Shayla'. What the fuck? No way. This is gonna be pain in the ass. I looked over at her and she was smiling at me and waving at me. I just looked back at the teacher. Then I heard her say Jessica' name and...
