Artemis walked down the hallways of Mount Justice. The team had had a mission earlier in the morning, and snow in Gotham had short-wired the zeta tubes. So now everyone was stuck here, because the spark from the Gotham tube had short-wired the whole system. Now everyone was stuck here.
M'gann was overjoyed,  because everyone was here for a 'sleepover'. She was preparing a whole dinner, then they were all going to watch a movie on the couch. Artemis was honestly ok with it, she never really had sleepovers when she was a kid.
That was hours from now, and she was headed to the showers to pass the time.
She heard a thump, coming from a certain speedsters room. She stopped in her tracks, tilting her head in confusion. She carefully tip-toed to the room.
"Uh, Baywatch..." she asked leaning up to the door.
"Go away." He said.
"What was that noise?" She asked.
"Non of ya business...." He said.
"Yeah, I'm coming in..."she opened the door and looked inside the dark room.
She blinked a few times in attempt to see. She turned the lights on and the red head hissed. "Turn them off!" He shouted.
She was a bit taken aback at his shouting. "What's wrong with you?" She asked.
He was laying on his bed, a pillow over his face.
"Just GO AWAY! I don't want you here!" He yelled.
She stepped back, a bit hurt by her boyfriends words. But she refused to leave. Oh no. You do not yell at her without giving her an answer.
"Wally..." she turned the lights off.
"GET OUT." He said.
This time she did leave.

He felt guilty. He didn't mean to yell at her like that.... just, He was cranky. His head hurt so bad, he just couldn't talk to people right now. He groaned and stood up, making his way to the small bathroom.
He looked at himself in the mirror. His hair was so messed up from tossing and turning, and his tee-shirt had wrinkles all down it. Opening the cabinet, he pulled out the prescription migraine medicine. He pulled out two pills and swallowed with some water, then stumbled back to his bed. This medicine wasn't working, the migraine still pounded in his head. But he'd still been taking it all day.
"Y'know that stuff doesn't work right." A voice said from the corner.
He looked up. "I thought I told you to get out." He said.
"And I did." She said.
She had a bag in her hands. "What's that?" He asked.
She tossed him a bottle, and he caught it. "Whats this?"
"It works much better." She said setting the bag down.
He took two pills from the bottle and swallowed them. She sat next to him and laid her head on his shoulder. "Artemis, I'm sorr—"
"No, I get it. When did it start?" She asked.
"Gaahh." He groaned. "Yesterday. After school." He pulled her closer to him. "It hurts a lot." Tears brimmed his eyes.
"Why did you go on the mission today?" She frowned.
"I don't know..."
She pulled him into a laying down position and rested his head on her lap. "Get some rest. Megan would be disappointed if you missed out on her movie night." She said.
She started rubbing soothing circles on his head, and playing with his hair. He quickly fell asleep. "Feel better Baywatch." She smiled.
