Thank You

"It's freezing!" She yelled into the woods.
The red head was the only one who could hear her, as they were retreating into the woods.
Kid Flash had gotten himself cut badly in the leg, and he was stationed into the woods until the rest of the team was done the mission.
Robin told Artemis to go with him, in case he needed assistance.
Although the fight was going on in a building, not outside in the freezing cold.
The woods was just on the outskirts of the building. So they could see it faintly through the trees.
Artemis hugged herself in attempt to keep herself warm. It didn't do anything.
"It's your own fault. You're the one who chose to have a costume with an exposed stomach!" Wally argued.
"I have a reason for that y'know." She said as they walked further.
"Why? Trying to show off." He snorted.
"No. Experience." She said.
"Experience?" He asked.
"Yeah, one time there was this mission for Dad.  We had to go out into the woods, but not like these ones, they had thick underbrush, and you couldn't get through without a knife to cut some of it. My old shirt got caught, over and over, and when the mission actually came, I almost died cause of it." She explained.
"But what about the whether?" He asked.
"That's the downside part of it...." she shivered. "How's you leg?"
"Robs bandages are working. I think it stopped bleeding, and if I keep it straight, it doesn't hurt as much." He shrugged.
"Can we stop?" Artemis said, shivering.
"Wow, I thought I would be the one saying that." He said gesturing to his leg.
Artemis didn't answer and sat down against a tree trunk.  She curled into a ball and tried to keep warm. "This isn't a good idea." Said Wally.
"J-just for a little b-bit..." she said.
"No, I mean being out here at all. Your going to freeze, Artemis." He said with a frown.
He was generally concerned for his girlfriend.
"W-Where would w-we go?" She asked.
"C'mon. We'll go to the bioship."
"B-but, M'gann..." She said.
"I'll take care of it. C'mon, moving will help you stay warm." He held out his hand for her.
She took it, and stumbled up. He wrapped his arms around her neck to keep her warm.
They walked to the hidden spot where the bioship was. He knocked on it, and Megan had to have felt it. "Wally, what are you doing?" She asked telepathically.
"Artemis is gonna freeze out here. How's the mission?" He asked.
"Not too well. We could use her help, will you be alright?" She asked.
"Uh, Yeah. I'll tell her."
"Artemis, they need you inside." He said.
"How do you know?" She asked.
He tapped his head. She nodded and headed inside.

She was freezing. She wished the cold was a person so she could punch it. The archer walked inside of the warehouse. They were fighting Bane, and she walked in just in time to see M'gann fly into the ceiling, Superboy get thrown into a wall, Kaldur get slashed with a sword, and Robin fall off the catwalk. She shouldn't have left.
Artemis sprung into action. She shot and arrow at the guy who was attacking Kaldur, and the one who was attacking Robin. Then she headed  for Bane, who was taking on both Superboy and M'gann.
She aimed a foam arrow at the drugged man, and shot. He froze in foam and she immediately ran forward, seizing the moment. He saw her coming, and began to break the hold, it started to crack, but didn't completely break. 
She shot an electric arrow, one that would let the electricity travel through the foam fast.
He groaned, and fully broke it, barreling towards her. She shot and arrow at the ceiling and he stopped in his tracks. "You missed little girl." He said.
The arrow bounced off the ceiling and came barreling towards him, hitting him straight in his back, the cords giving him his superhuman powers breaking. "Define, missed." She smiled.

Once they fully took care of Bane, they all went back to Mount Justice.
Wally and Artemis were sitting on the couch, watching a movie. "Did I tell you thank you?" He asked.
"Yes, Wally, over a million times." She groaned. 
He kissed her forehead. "Thank you."

Once again, she groaned.

Ok I know this wasn't the best chapter, but I kind of got stuck on what to write. But thx for reading anyways!
