Claire's help wasn't enough for me. I needed Iris's too and Claire's the one who suggested it. Wil was just making rants on how ladies over think the simplest situations.

Iris let me borrow her cream dress that flows just above my knees that I paired with a pair of my sneaker that seemed to compliment the dress.

They even asked me if what's about to happen is a date. I over think and over do this like it's a date or something, but in reality it was just a dinner where I have to make it up to him.

The sad thing is my dumb part thinks that I need to look good because this seems like a date to me.

“I think he's here. Wil's on his way to the door.”

“You ready?”

“I don't know.”

Justin's laugh rang downstairs, together with uncle's. I feel excited for tonight to be honest, and it's making me so nervous. Maybe his excitement would just be one of my disappointments in life.

“Just go downstairs whenever you're ready.”

What I did when they left me was to even my breathing pattern. I indeed look like a girl tonight. My hair was tousled, but not that messy like the usual. My make up is the simplest I've ever had from Iris, it's almost like I'm not wearing any cosmetics.

Exhaling, I closed my door and made my way downstairs. They seem unaware that I'm already stepping down the stairs because I can hear Iris telling about how I'm gonna freak out on Justin's outfit. What could possibly his outfit for tonight?

The first thing I saw is his back. He's wearing a freaking dress shirt in white and an acid wash jeans which I assume to be ripped. I cleared my throat and they all glanced at me.

“Who are you? What did you do to my Olive?” uncle gasps, as in for real. He's shaken.

I giggled, setting my eyes on Justin. My god, his hair was comb backwards, giving him this sleek look. I noticed his lips which were in a shape of a small letter o, while his eyes a little wide.

The next minutes were a blur until I realized I'm already inside Justin's car. He still hasn't started driving nor started the engine. Instead, he still has the same reaction I saw him make when he saw me.

“Hi,” I said. “I haven't properly said hi to you.”

He eyes me then licks his lips. “Hi. I was planning to play hard to get like you girls always do but then you decided to do... that.”

I hope he didn't see me blush. “Do what?”

“You wore a dress for me. You know I like dresses on you.”

I did a happy dance in my head. Ha, mission accomplished. “Oh that wasn't part of my plan but I guess my natural instincts just did a job well done.”

The car roared to life as he chuckles. “Where are you taking me tonight?”

“What?” I asked, dumbfounded. “Oh yeah I was the one who's supposed to—”

“Stop, I was kidding.”

God, you have no idea how I missed you. I don't even know why. We haven't spent a lot of time and yet I missed you.

He unbuttons the two top buttons on his dress shirt, exposing his collar and upper chest. I gulped. It's starting to get hot in here.

“So are you telling me where we're going?”

“Considering we're both well dressed, so I'm taking us somewhere posh.”

Can he please stop being so attractive, it's not helping me. At all. “You should wear dress shirts often. In that way especially.”
