          She looked different.

          Good different.

The moment I saw her tonight, after six fûcking months, she looks well. I should be a hundred percent happy that she is, but it kind of breaks my heart. Because I am not the same as what I think she is today.

Waiting for her to come back from the washroom almost killed me, thinking I'll lose her again. Not this time. I didn't come here just to fix us. Or at least try to.

And she did walk back to our table. I'm surprised she could walk comfortably in those heels now. I miss her so much I want to kiss her and just keep her in my arms.

When she sits down, I wasn't sure what to say because she has this intimidating look. She definitely has changed. Even her tone did. "A smoothie business huh?"

Clearing my throat and honestly not expecting her to say that of all the things she could, I nod. "Wasn't really mine. It's Seth's. My mom's boyfriend."

I'm sure I told her about mom's boyfriend before. She even asked where he was when we went to visit Canada. "Oh well yeah I'm not surprised. You got a lot of connection. So how do we do this?"

"How about we order something first?"

          "I don't have all night."

"Please just lend me some of your time."

She didn't respond so I just called someone to prepare for our orders to talk about the stuffs I need to tell her. Yes, stuff with an 's'. I have a lot to tell her after these six long months. And she should talk and explain too. The way she left me with nothing, I want to know why. And how she managed to do that. After everything we told each other that night. I though it would be the start of our new chapter together. Little did I know it is, but only apart from each other.

I'm thankful she let me get her what I know that never fails to drive her crazy and watch her finish it. Hell, I'm grateful she didn't leave me yet tonight. She could've turned around and don't listen to me but here she is, wiping her mouth with a napkin after biting the last piece of her food.

          I missed watching her.

I missed her. But there are more important things than us. We need to get through that first before getting this thing between us fixed.

"You didn't have to get me the quesadillas."

I shake my head, preventing myself from smiling when I see her swallowing the last piece of it. "I want to. Shall we get this started?"

          "We should've thirty minutes ago."

I chuckle. "I will be straightforward now and tell you what my intentions are. Fûck the smoothie stuff, that was just my key to get to you. Just let me jump right to it. Someone you know wants to see you."

She blinks. "I thought we're just going to talk about the business? Who the hell are you talking about?"

          "It's Sophia."

I better just spill everything before I run out of time.

"Your sister? Why would she want to see me?"

I inhaled, wetting my lips. "Your sister, Liv. Your lost sister."

"Are you seriously making shît up to get to me? That's impossible Justin. She's gone. That's not funny."
