          Six months later

Finally it's summer. College is over.

They say a lot can happen in a year. But a lot can also happen halfway through it.

“Seriously, Olive? Are you really just gonna stare at your laptop forever? Come join me!” Iris was going nuts. She is busy choosing the ice cream flavors that are nominated to be the one to serve in her wedding.

Yes. Iris and Kenneth are engaged. Are you not surprised? We are all not. They got together pretty quick. I guess seeing them reveal that ring in Iris's finger isn't much of a surprise to us. I regret questioning the rush between them. Time won't matter when it comes to love, I guess.

Ice cream is their replacement for a wedding cake. They are so cute for choosing everything out of someone's stereotypical thinking. For example is that they won't wear white as their attire. She's still choosing between red and violet.

“Coming, I was just finishing the financial shît of the store.”

Considering the fact that my uncle is very busy with his love life now, I let him put all the matters in my hands. I'm fully in charge with the convenience store now. Wil and Claire lives in the Australia now with Dad. Long story short, Mom finally allowed us to get her some professional help. If it wasn't for the store, I would definitely join them. But Dad stopped me from doing so.

“Oh is that so? I totally forgot your fam is gonna make a visit this week. Are you guys gonna go out of town?” She closes the lid of her own laptop, finally plopping herself on my sheets.

“Probably not. Wil wants to tour Dad around here.”

I look at her and she smiles way too wide. “You've never cut your hair in so long. These wavy locks look fire on you.”

“Thanks. I actually did this to look good on your wedding.”

The next thing I see is a sleeping Iris. Kenneth's right, this woman haven't been friends with sleep for a long time.

My phone buzzed on my dresser in the distance, making me stand up on my bare feet to check it.

          From: Debbie

Olivia, this guy kept on asking me your phone number. What do I do? I literally excused myself just to text you this. Please let's get rid of him....

I laugh. Get rid of him, really Debbie? I typed my way to text back.

          To: Debbie

i thought he was an "eye candy" to u? why don't u just give ur number instead?

          Almost immediately, she replied.

          From: Debbie

He was!! Now I'm not so sure. But you got some nice idea. Maybe we'd do that. See ya later!

Shaking my head, I locked my phone and sighed in satisfaction. Debbie is my part timer since I got the store in my hands. Let's just say she's the Olivia and I'm the Wil. She's currently eighteen and just graduated in high school. Debbie isn't interested on taking a journey on higher education so she decided to work full time. But I insisted I teach her some things about business. Like she's the Olivia and I'm Claire.
