Emi's POV
A/N: If you don't remember her at this point she made an appearence in chapter 18 as a maid who was spying on Yuni. Go back to the end of chapter 18 for refresher if needed. Sorry!
"Ow!" I hear someone yell behind me, followed by a loud thud. I turn to see the her, the girl I'm supposed to be spying on, rubbing her knee as she rocks back and forth on the floor. Geez, I think, standing up, she sure doesn't look dangerous now.
"Hey, maid girl! Why'd you run away from me?" she whines. "You made me cut my knee!"
"You're the one who slipped and fell onto me!" I argue, grabbing her hand. She sighs but pulls herself off the ground with my help.
She pulls away and suddenly looks embarrassed, like she remembers what I just walked in on. "Um.. anyways.." she mumbles, her head down, expression hidden. There is a dangerous aura coming from her, and I reach for the knife hidden in my waistband. She breathes in, and I ready the knife. "Please don't tell anyone!!" she yells, wrapping her hands around my waist suddenly. I pull back in surprise and she lets go, watching me fall to the ground. A smile appears on her face as she twirls a knife around her fingers. My eyes widen. She knew?
"You didn't think I wouldn't pick up on your whole spying on me thing did you? I'm not an idiot you know," she smirks, pricking her own finger with the knife. Blood drips down her arm in a small stream as my heart begins pounding faster. "Look, I know Kokona probably sent you to keep an eye on me and keep me safe," she says, walking closer. "But I don't like people getting in the way of my business," she leans down and whispers in my ear, "Especially when that business is Yuki." I tremble as she stands up, blood staining both of her hands. I look down to see the knife in my stomach, crimson spreading on my dress. I fall to the ground like a ragdoll. "You know, I actually have some time," she whispers, staring at me with a smile. "You're lucky you know," she says, licking her fingers. She walks over as I lay lifeless on the floor, my head throbbing, and throws me over her shoulder as my eyes begin to close. "You have the honor of playing with me!"
