When my eyes flutter open I'm met with bright lights, shining down on my face.
"Hi Emi-chan," I expect Yuni's green-blue eyes, but instead they're pink, a magenta shade. The white haired girl steps into the light, her eyes nearly glowing. The crack in her skull has now vanished, and my mouth drops. Had I imagined the whole thing? She seems perfectly normal now, her skin is pale and untouched, her long hair is still snow white, and her eyes still glimmer pink, no signs of pain cross her face.
"Who are you?" I say weakly.
"My name is Rinya," she replies, staring into my eyes. "Onee-chan is out for the day so I'm going to watch you, okay?"
When she gets closer I realize she has cat ears, similar to Yuni's.

"Did you say onee-chan?"
"Yep," she nods. "Yuni's my big sister,"
Yuki's POV
"Hey Yuki, can we go somewhere today?" Yuni says, gripping my hand. It's early morning, and we're sitting in the forest on a blanket. Yuni kind of dragged me out of the house this morning, but it was worth it, the view of the sunrise is beautiful.
"Sure, where would you like to go?" I reply, my eyes on the sunrise.
"Can we go out for breakfast?"
"Sure," I smile. "There's a nice restaurant downtown, and I've been meaning to take you out, so this is perfect," Her face blushes and she smiles back at me. "You're really cute when you smile Yuni," I say.
"Oh geez Yuki! You asked for this,"
"Wha-" she tackles me to the ground on my back, and kisses me on the lips. I kiss her back this time, and her eyes widen in shock. She tries to pull away but I hold her in place, wrapping her in a hug. "I love you Yuni," I whisper.
Her face is the most colorful I've ever seen it, a bright red spread from her nose to her ears. "U-um," she stutters. "I l-love you too,"
"You seem nervous," I whisper into her ear.
"Uh-" I interrupt her by kissing her again, sitting up and placing her in my lap.
"Just teasing you!" I laugh, as her mouth stays open in shock.
She doesn't speak for a few minutes, and she puts her head down.
"Um, Yuni?"
"I fucking love you," she cries happily, looking up at me. She wraps her arms lazily around my neck and pecks my cheek. "I was wondering how long it would take for you to get the nerve to do that," she laughs. "It only took a fews forevers,"
"Oh that's just cruel Yuni," I grin. "Now let's go out to breakfast."
"That sounds purrfect~"
"Did you just make a cat pun?"
"Maybe I did," she smirks. "Now hurry up and get ready to go! I'm hungry,"
