Y/N's POV

I woke up to see Crowley standing at the window, wagging his tail. I stood up as I threw on my armor and grabbed my sword. I walked over to Crowley and scratched his head.

"What's going on?"I asked Crowley.

"The Vytal festival! It's here!"Crowley said happily. I looked out the window to see hundreds of students from all over Remanent standing in the courtyard, as well as floats and launch pads and tents. A smile streaked across my face as I ran outside. I bumped into team RWBY on my way out.

"Hey guys."I said. Only Ruby turned.

"Oh, hey Y/N!"she said with a wave. I caught up with the girls and walked with them.

"What's going on?"I asked Ruby.

"Weiss is explaining the importance of the Vytal festival."she said. I sighed.

"She's always doing something like that."I said. Ruby nodded. After a few minutes of Weiss doing the explaining, we reached the courtyard were Prof. Ozpin was giving a speech.

"My fellow americans, I'm just kidding. The Vytal festival has arrived!"Ozpin said followed by cheers and claps of the students. I clapped along as well. Ozpin went on with his speech.

"Today we see the 4 kingdoms unite for this occasion, Vale, Atlas, Vacuo and Mistrial. We stand and celebrate. Thank you."Ozpin said as he walked off the stage. We all walked off towards Vale to get a bite to eat. Me and team RWBY met up with team JNPR a little while later. We all went to a local burger joint to get something to eat.

"So Weiss how excited are you for this?"I asked. Weiss looked up from her food and spoke.

"I think it's interesting to learn about other cultures from all around Remanent!"she said with a smile. Nora cut in through eating her hundreds of pancakes and burgers.

"Mounty Oum of duff probum noff!"Nora said. We all looked at her strangely. She swallowed her food before speaking again.

"I really just want to beat people up in the tournament."Nora said. We all agreed. My scroll rang as everyone was talking. It was Cinder.

"I gotta make this. Brb."I said as I walked out.

"Kay."Ruby said. I walked outside and answered the call.

"Hello Y/N."said Cinder.

"Hey, what's the situation?"I asked.

"We've been updated."said Cinder.

"Okay, fill me in."I said. Cinder filled me in with the plans of the Invasion Of Vale and The Fall Of Beacon. I dropped my coffee cup as it shattered against the pavement.

"We can't do that. A lot of people, hundreds, thousands will die. I can't do it."I said firmly.

"Well than either you are in or out."said Cinder just as firmly.

"If you don't join us, then I will kill everyone you love right in front of you."she said. A tear fell from my eyes. I nodded slowly.

"I'm in."I said through tears.

"Good, we'll talk about more later."Cinder said before she hung up. I put my scroll to my side as I slid up against the diner. I threw my scroll into the middle of the road as a car crushed it with its tires. I stood up after 5 minutes and sat back down with my friends.

"You alright?"asked Blake.

"I'm fine."
