Ruby's POV

I woke up to see a white wall and a bright light. I sat up to see professor Ozpin sitting in a chair drinking coffee.

"What happened?"I said, holding my head.

"Ah Ms. Rose, you are awake!"said Ozpin.

"Do you remember anything?"asked Ozpin turning serious.

"What?"

"Before you blacked out?"asked Ozpin.

"Oh I remember walking into a cave full of Grimm and the guy we were looking for was there and he knew our names and everything about us, then we fought him and he beat all of us and then he like talked to the Alpha of the pack and then some bright purple exploded in our faces. Then I blacked out. I don't know what happened. I just don't know."I said clutching my bed covers tightly making my hands red.

"WAIT! WHERE IS MY TEAM?!"I yelled trying to get up. Ozpin grabbed my hand.

"They're fine. They are resting in the other room."said Ozpin. I relaxed a bit.

"What now?"I asked. Ozpin sighed.

"I don't know."

Y/N POV

The portal opened so I could see a large castle made of a dark stone in a pale moon light, for the ground was a dark blood red color and small plots of black like ink substance littered the land. I followed the man to a large castle door.

"So Doc Watts, where are we?"I asked. He turned around in complete and utter confusion.

"How did you..?"asked Doctor Watts but I cut him off.

"Mind reading."I said. He nodded. He led me inside to a large courtyard.

"Your room is to the right. You may get ready. The courtroom is to the left."said Watts before turning and leaving. I nodded as I headed to my room. Watts opened the doors into a room I could not see. I entered my room to see a master bedroom littered with all my favorite things.

'Feels like home.'I thought.

Emerald's POV

I stood next to Mercury as we waited for the arrival of the new member of our court.

"What do you think he looks like?"I whispered to Mercury.

"He's probably a mistake."Mercury said. I couldn't hold back a giggle.

"Down to business."said Salem in her terrifying voice.

"What of our new member?"asked Cinder.

"He is here."said Watts as he took his seat at the table.

"Watts, you have returned."said Hazel.

"Was it a...pleasant JOURNey?!"asked Tyrian with a laugh.

"All this fuss over one guy is pretty dumb."said Mercury. I shrugged. Then the door threw itself open to reveal a man in pure black clothes with small bones of Grimm lining the clothes. He also wore a terrifying mask made of a Grimm face. Me and Mercury backed up as he circled the table like a bird of prey. He then made it to us and stood Mercury down.

"If you don't have anything nice to say, then shut it Mercury Black."said the suited man. Mercury nodded slowly. He then stood in front of me. I could feel his evil drip off of him.

"Emerald, I hope Mr. Black hasn't been a burden."he said.

"No sir, but he can be hard to work with sometimes."I said trying to be funny. The man smiled.

"Well see ya around."he said slunking into the seat across from Salem.

"Good to meet everyone of this court, Watts of course, Tyrian, Hazel, Cinder, and Salem. I sure have heard a lot about you."he said leaning in his chair as he put his feet on the table. Salem stood still. I knew the worst was to come. But Salem... laughed. She laughed as if she was told a funny joke, not a evil laugh.

"So you must be Y/N L/N."said Salem through her giggling. They both smiled. Me and Mercury's jaws dropped. Salem never laughs. But she did.

"Who are you?"asked Cinder. Y/N opened his feet to see Cinder. He then took his feet off the table.

"I don't know."said Y/N smiling.

"I know I'm scary."he said.

"But...?"started Cinder.

"Mind reading."said Y/N plainly. Cinder looked at Salem with a worried look. Salem nodded.

"Well Y/N, we are happy to have you in our court."said Salem. Cinder looked dazed almost confused. Y/N nodded.

"Well now that we are all here, I have a plan."said Salem. Everyone leaned to hear it.

"Y/N you will go with Cinder to operate in Vale."said Salem finally.

"What? You can't be serious?"asked Cinder.

"She is though."Y/N said coldly. Cinder stood and balled her hands into fists.

"Sit down my child."Salem spoke. Cinder slowly retreated back into her seat.

"This plan it might not work."said Y/N. Salem looked angry.

"I love it."Y/N said. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well set this plan into motion."
