Your feet shuffled on the rocky path, as the sun's rays beamed on your face. Squinting your eyes, you looked up ahead to see the school. Another boring day, huh.

"Y/n!" A voice called out behind you, and you slightly turned around. Yilin, your best friend, hurriedly walked up to you, her long, black, and thin hair swaying in the wind. It matched perfectly with her snow-like pale skin and light brown eyes. To be honest, Yilin was one of the prettiest girls in the grade.

"Annyeong, Yilin," You greeted with a smile.

"Annyeong," Yilin replied, "Guess what?"

"What?" You asked. As soon as she was about to speak, the bell rang loudly, signaling it was time for class. "Oh no, let's go before we're late," You said to Yilin. She nodded and both of you fast-walked to class together. Arriving in time, you sat down, glancing at Yilin, at the other side of the room, with a relieved look, saying we made it in time. Yilin simply smiled.

Just then, the door slides open for Ms Ying, your teacher, to walk in. "Annyeonghaseyo, everyone," She greeted. The whole class greeted back, but with a rather lazy and defeated tone. "Yes, yes, I know it's Monday, but, it will be an exciting Monday," Ms Ying tried to cheer us up.

"Why?" One of the students called out. Ms Ying glared at the student for not raising their hand. Either way, she still answered.

"We will be having a new student join us today," Ms Ying announced. The class murmured, wondering who it could be. Remembering the conversation you left off with Yilin, you looked at her. She stared right back, as if to say that she was going to talk about the new student before cut off.

"Ahem..." The whole class simmered down at Ms Ying's stern voice. "You may come in now, student,"

The door suddenly opens, revealing a boy. He walks to the front of the class, next to Ms Ying. Chatter fills the classroom instantly, and you could guess what they were about. This new student... He looks hot af. No, you didn't think that, you just know people are talking about that, okei?

You scanned the boy as he introduced himself.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Jung Hoseok! I'm your angel, you're my angel, and you can call me J-Hope!" The boy loudly stated. You were surprised at his optimism, and slightly smiled. As if on cue with your smile, his eyes suddenly locked with yours, only for a moment, before turning his attention to another student.

Okay?

"Any questions for J-Hope?" Hoseok asked in third person. Several hands flew straight up, one coming from Yilin as well. Oh boy, this is going to take long. "How about you over there?" Hoseok pointed to a guy in the back.

"Where are you from, J-Hope?"

"Ah, I'm from Gwangju," Hoseok replied. Pointing to a girl, the girl questioned,

"U-hmmm... I ha-have two questions," She muttered, barely enough to hear. Hoseok nodded, and she continued, "why d-did you move schools?" At the question, Hoseok hummed in thinking.

"I moved schools because of my dad's work," Hoseok answered. You don't know why, but you felt a sense of sadness in his reply, and you were confused. Brushing the thought away, the girl asked the other question.

"And, w-well, u-mm... n-nevermind, actually!" The girl muttered. You noticed the girl next to her rolled her eyes, and called out,

"Could you do some aegyo, J-Hope?" The girl asked, seeming as if the shy girl was originally going to say that. The quiet girl blushed and looked down on her desk. The whole class laughed, and Hoseok replied,

"Well, I don't see why not,"

You couldn't really stand aegyo, you don't know why, so you looked away from J-Hope and instead the sky, again. After hearing what finally seemed like the end of his wheel of questions, the bell rang, and you quickly gathered your books.

"Okay, class, have a good day!" Ms Ying said, and she turned her attention to her computer, typing on the keyboard immediately.

"Hey, Y/n," Yilin said, and you looked at her. You hummed, and Yilin continued, "wasn't Hoseok so hot? And cute? And funny? And friendly? And-"

"Aish, enough of your babbling," You snapped. Both of you started to giggle, you then exited the classroom, passing by Hoseok, who was talking to the teacher. A sudden chill went down your spine. You ignored the familiar feeling and went on to get your lunch.

??? POV
ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ
That girl.
Why does she seem... so... different?

What is this feeling? I've never felt it before...

Heading to the bathroom, I looked to see if no one was there. Phew. I relaxed my acting face and looked at myself in the mirror. Thinking of the girl again, I noticed I actually smirked. For real.

What is happening? I began to let out a laugh, the unknown feeling urging into me.

Oh, the things this girl is doing to me. I tried to contain myself, but couldn't help but smile, thinking about her.

I need to find out all about her...

She's making me feel things I've never felt before.
