Adorable

" Alright," says Burnie. " On this podcast, I think all of us can agree. The Winter Holidays, regardless of which one you celebrate. I mean, you have Christmas, and Hanukkah. Things like that. Then you have New Years, which is less a holiday and more so an excuse to get horrifically drunk and hate yourself next morning."

" Yeah," agrees Gus. " We all have enough stories of getting drunk on this channel." This sends the podcast into laughter and agreement.

" So, it got me thinking," says Burnie. " I put out a poll yesterday on Twitter, to see what their favorite holiday is other than the winter ones. It kinda surprised me, but the winner of the poll was actually Valentines Day."

" I am not the biggest fan of that holiday," says Michael. " But, I can see the appeal of it. I'm not surprised it won the poll. I mean, really though there's nothing else other than like Halloween and Easter. And if you're not religious, the only thing making Easter different from Halloween is just the amount of effort it takes to get your candy."

" Right, and then anyways it got me thinking. I put out another poll, and people are still voting on it," says Burnie. " The question of this poll was who the cutest couple in the Roosterteeth office is, and all of the couples are in it."

" If you vote for anyone other than (y/n) and Barbara, then you're wrong," says Gus. " I don't wanna do that teenage girl thing where I call a couple 'goals.' But in the most masculine way I can, then (y/n) and Barbara are goals. And then, let me tell you all when I realized just how cute they are."

-Flashback Gus Pov ( writing style changes here)

We had gotten off the plane, and we were on the bus. The bus was gonna take us to the hotel, and it was late at night. There was a traffic jam, and (y/n) was sitting with Barbara. He had the window seat, and he was kinda fading in and out. Eventually, he passed out and rested his head on the window, in a way that was going to really hurt his neck.

And Barbara just looks at him, and like it made my heart melt a little bit. She's looking at him man, and her eyes. They're just like..the expression in them. It was like they were saying, ' Everything I want in the world is in that person.'

She goes, and pulls him off the window, and he's drooling by this point. She takes him, and rests his head on her lap. And she starts stroking his head, and the look in her eyes. You know, like ' This is everything I want in this life.'

We make it to the hotel, and he's still asleep. Passed out. So, she just moves his head, and picks him up bridal style, and carries him. And then we get to our floor, and she can't open the door since she's carrying him. I do it for her, and she goes in.

I kinda stand in the doorway and watch what happens, because I'm curious. She sets him in the bed, and pulls the covers over him. Barbara looks at him, still so lovingly, and then crawls into the bed next to him. She wraps her arms around him, and pulls him close. And then, she puts her chin on his head, and then kissed him goodnight.

-Present Day third person-

" So yeah," says Gus. " That was the point when I realized that they were goals. That was just the cutest thing I had seen in all my years about living."

" Yeah, they are super cutesy together," says Michael. " They also get my vote for the cutest couple in this office. And much like Gus, let me tell you when I realized it."

-Flashback Michael Pov( writing style changes)

So, it was after one of the hurricanes, and we were doing something to raise money for charities. We were doing 24 hour livestreams. Achievement Hunter was doing that, and people were being taken in and out do the podcast. And (y/n) has the office right next to mine, and he was doing some online battles for Injustice 2.

The day ends, and we're all fucking exhausted. I mean, 24 hours. That day was all of our records for caffeine that had been consumed. So, Barbara had the last shift being on the podcast, and then she goes to (y/n)'s office. I go with her, because it's right next door and I have nothing else to really since I had driven in with Lindsey.

(y/n) is just lying there on the floor, passed the hell out. Snoring, and drooling. Bottles and cans are just everywhere. And she tilts her head, and looks at him. And yeah, like Gus said there's so much in that look. Love, care. And she makes her way over to him. She takes her jacket off, and drapes it over him like a blanket.

And then she picks him up, and sets him on the couch he has in the office. She gets on the couch behind him, and then works her way under the jacket with him. I'm not the type of guy who goes ' awww' and stuff like that. But, when I saw that, I gave the loudest 'aww' of my life.

-Present day, third person Pov-

" Yeah," says Burnie. " Right now, the two of them are crushing the poll. I actually have a story about them I would like to talk about, because I also agree that they're adorable."

-Flashback Burnie Pov ( writing style)

We had all gone to see the Boruto movie. I forget how (y/n) had talked us into going, since he's kinda the biggest/only Naruto fan in the office. But, he talked us into it. And we were kinda just like whatever about it. He was super excited.

And we go to see the movie, and most of us fall asleep right away. There was an explosion on screen, and then it made me wake-up, and rub my eyes. I look to my right, and there's Barbara and (y/n). She's holding his hand, and then resting her head on his shoulder. And his eyes are just sparkling, and he's so happy to watch whatever incomprehensible action is happening.

I tap her on the shoulder, and she turns over. I mouth to her to ask if she has any idea what the hell is happening. She shrugs, and then goes back to rest her head on (y/n)'s shoulder. Barbara turns, and just looks at (y/n). Same general look we've all discussed, right? Love, affection, care. But she's also just happy he's happy.

The movie ends, and we go out. The ones of us who fell asleep are trying to piece together the storyline from the scattered bits we all saw, but to no avail. We turn to see Barbara listening to (y/n) explain exactly what happened. It sounded like a fucking French class. I had no idea what he was talking about, and I can tell Barbara didn't either. But, she's hanging on his every word, just lost in his eyes, and how happy he is.

-Present Day-

" Yeah," says Burnie. " They're just adorable."
