Chapter twenty three

A time skip from the little one.
Tommy's POV
Our baby is almost here. Poor Alex. They forgot to ask him if he wanted that epidural thingy until it was too late. I awake from my thoughts when Alex squeezes the life out of my hand. He has a death grip on it, which stops when we hear a baby cry. Our baby cry. "It's a girl!" The nurse wraps our baby girl in a blanket and gives her to Alex. She walks off to grab a birth certificate. "You did amazing Alex, I love you." I kiss his sweaty forehead and smile at him. He smiles and hands Luna to me. I wanna hold her forever. The nurse comes back and takes the baby to get a bath and for tests. Alex and I hold hands for a while silently. "Do you think we'll be good parents?" Alex looks up at me, a worried expression on his face. "You take care of me don't cha? You've had experience." I look at him with a smile and he laughs at my joke. "I just wonder if ima be a good dad. I'm the worst role model a girl could ask for." Alex smiles and plants a kiss on my forehead (with plenty of help).

Alex's POV
We are still waiting on the nurse. I swear to god if she hurt my kid I'll- She hands me my baby. I pull the sheets over us and feed her. I sit there burping her for a while. I hand her to her dad after and he cuddles with her. "They acted like they cut my legs off." Laf says coming in, Herc at his side. He sees Luna and squeals quietly. "Look at her!" His voice is almost inaudible. It's super cute to watch. He holds her like she's a porcelain doll. Alex smiles at his warmly and laughs when he looks at her like he looks at his kids. She starts crying and he hands her over to Alex. "Change, nap, pacifier. Introduce it to her early on." Laf says with a smile as he goes back to his room.
