Chapter Twenty One

Dinah's POV

With my mouth still hung low like everyone else, Y/N continued to enjoy her food as she stuffed a mouthful of meat and salad that were creating her cheeks to enlarge in size. I could never really understand how someone could eat like it was the end of the world yet made it look so adorable. 

"Oh yeah Dinah, I got to speak to your mother not long ago. Milika is a wonderful lady." I was already frozen in my position since she was still holding my left hand but now my attention was on the words she said. Specifically hearing my mum's first name.

"R-really? What did she say to you?" I gulped and cursing under my breath, not wanting my mum to bring a bad impression to Y/N.

"She was polite letting me sit next to while I ate but then she got mad," Y/N stopped eating and embarrassingly looked away from me. "because I didn't call her by her first name." 

Lauren and Camila began to chuckle which resulted in shaking their heads with a smile. "Knowing you, you probably got glared when you called her Mrs. Hansen right?"

Y/N scratched the side of her head and nodded shyly. I cooed at how cute she looked when her best friends got their guess correctly. 

"I'm just so used to acknowledging people who are older than me with respect." Y/N shrugged out her embarrassment and continued with the food. "It's been ingrained in my mind ..." 

"Since when was that even a habit?" Ally's right brow raised, looking at Normani if she knew the answer to her question. 

"Ever since I got a job. It's part of the job to title people with their surnames. It can't be helped." We nod our heads and went back to finishing off our food.

Whilst finishing off our food, we all conversed over past stories of either ourselves or our best friends which was creating a stronger bondage between the six of us. For instance, to think that Ally had barged into Normani's room when she was getting some with a person she was with at the time with holy water and a bible cracked us all up besides Normani of course.

The food on our plates were no longer present so we thought it was best to clean up our table and go inside so none of us could get any mosquito bites or of any some sort of boredom. We all went to Camila's room and we sat around in a circle, not really knowing what to do.

"I'm so bored!" Camila whines as her back hits her mattress bed. 

"Alright then, let's play never have I ever without the drinks." Normani suggests as she pulls my best friend to her lap. Evidently everyone in the room can see how red Camila is and I'm sure she's aware of it too. 

"Cool. I want to start!" Lauren says as we all wait and listen to her never have I ever. "Never have I ever skinny dipped."

With all of us still remaining five fingers, Camila and Y/N lost a finger which didn't surprise me that Camila has but Y/N on the other hand did for sure. For some reason the two smiled and snapped their fingers at each other like they were buddies that were impressed at each other's decisions.

"Never have I ever broken a bone." Once again most of us remained with five fingers until Y/N lost another finger. Well she did say that she hurt herself a lot when she played basketball but she said that rolling her ankle was her biggest injury factor so when did she ever break a bone?

"Wait I don't recall you breaking a bone. When was this?" Ally looked at Y/N out of confusion.

"Don't you remember that I broke my pinkie?" Normani's face lit up and Ally's lips went round. 

"Oh yeah! You said that you walked into a wall and fractured your pinkie." Y/N laughed and nodded her head. 

"Never have I ever walked out of the house without underwear." Y/N and Normani put their fingers down and began to laugh.

"Okay you know why I didn't wear underwear that one time because of that stupid dare the two of you made me do last year but you have some explaining missy." Y/N thought for a while and seemed like she wasn't able to recollect her actions.

"Honestly I think I was either not doing laundry the day before or ... yeah it probably was that." The six of us laughed and slowly it died down.

"Never have I ever had my first kiss." This time all our fingers went down except Y/N. So she's done the extreme of skinny dipping, breaking a bone and going a day without underwear but hasn't had her first kiss? 

"Wait are you serious?" Camila's eyes bulged at Y/N like she couldn't believe it either.

"Y/N maybe cocky and upfront with people but she's a baby when it comes to relationships." Ally spoke as she leaned her head on Lauren's shoulder.

"Als!" Y/N covered her face and threw her head back, not wanting us to see her face for that period of time. "Why do you have to expose me?! I'm your best friend!"

"I love you Y/N/N." Y/N sat up and rolled her eyes at Ally. 

"Love you too." She murmured under her breath with her three fingers covering her lips. "Alright my turn. Never have I ever waited outside of Waffle House at 5 o'clock in the morning on a weekend."

Y/N smirked and looked directly at Ally which was rather interesting how specific her sentence was. Though what was more intriguing was the fact that Ally put a finger down.

"Oh it's on Y/N/N." Ally grinned at Y/N, not backing away from the opportunity to get her best friend back. 

Lauren's eyes widen as she moved her body back a bit from Ally to see the look on her face. As of Normani and Camila, they were too busy liking each other's company within each other's arms. I shrugged at Lauren and soon got to know more about the things Y/N has done.
