School is hurting my brain. I wish they could actually teach us more worthwhile information. This chapter might be bad so sorry in advance!

Your POV

"See you at lunch baby." I winked at Dinah before pulling Ally to her feet from Lauren to drag her along with me since we had a free period together.

I had to make sure that Ally wasn't going to trip over her own feet from thinking about Lauren while walking our way to the library. I've known for a very long time that Ally has been crushing on the green eyes girl but she keeps telling me that Lauren would never feel the same. I may have not really seem the two interact with each other a lot but Clearly everyone can tell that they adore each other within minutes.

When the strong musky smell of books hit our noses, Ally finally snaps out of her trance and follows me like a lost puppy. If she won't take my advice and motivation to ask Jauregui out, then I'm going to show her the evident signs of Lauren liking her back.

Stopping at the guide books in one of the many sections in the library, I ran my index finger over the spines till I found the right books for Ally. I started to take out a few books and placed them into Ally's hands before looking for more. I actually didn't think that there would be any books on relationship guides but I was wrong as I continued to stack up the pile of books I was giving to Ally.

"Y/N what exactly are you trying to read?" Ally said in confusion. I love Ally as a friend and there was no way I was letting her crush slip between her fingers just because the two were too dense see that they were made for each other. It wasn't like my parent's relationship made me scarred by the concept of love, I'm just scared of feeling unwanted again but this isn't about me. This is about Ally.

"The real question is, what exactly are you going to get out of reading these books?" After feeling a tad satisfied of her amount of guide books Ally had in her hands, I pulled her to our usual seating area in the library. She sat down and started skimming over the titles for the first time and was embarrassed.

"You're going to read at least half of the books I'll find you but in the meanwhile you should get a head start because it's going to be a long period Als. Plus it might help at least one of you because you're both oblivious." I said as I walked back to the shelf to see any more guide that would show indications to Ally that Lauren's actions line up to the things said in the books.

Maybe I was too persistent for my best friend to find love but I'd rather Ally to be confident and be straight up to Lauren. I may know nothing about relationships because all the ones I've been surrounded by as I grew up tended to show no affection whatsoever though that didn't stop me to help my friend find happiness for either it being a fling or for eternity.

It wasn't the fact that I had given hope on love for myself but I can say that I don't think I'd be able to let someone break my walls down that easily. It's just like a defense mechanism that I've had for years and there has been people who try to break them down. Of course love isn't on my side so by then my walls would continue to upgrade and get so high to the point where people wouldn't bother with me. Hence me being relatively unknown in school.

Walking back with another three books in my hand, I see the green eyes girl sitting beside Ally. If this wasn't a logical sign from the universe putting the two together then I don't know what was.

"This person is so sweet. Every time I would see them, it makes me smile. Just the slightest touch from a hug makes me go crazy. Their eyes are just beautiful. I could get lost in them all day and it makes my heart beat fast whenever they looked me into my eyes to see my soul." Ally described Lauren but obviously the raven haired girl thought she was talking about someone else. Come on Ally you're so close.
