How Does Your Story Go? (Dinah/You)

Chapter Four

Dinah's POV 

"Al's who saved you?" Normani said hesitantly.

"Lauren Jauregui." My eyes widened and I felt my heart freeze. I feel tears escaping out of my eyes as my best friend is in danger.

The speakers stopped blaring with the monotone voice and everyone in the room went back to their seats and began talking. I was literally shitting myself of how scared I was a few seconds ago, opening up the door for Ally and now all these people in my class are acting like nothing happened?! 

It seemed that Normani was just as confused as I was when Ally stood up and walked herself to our table, taking a seat like her breaking down didn't just happen a few seconds ago. I looked at Normani raising my eye brow and pointing to Ally, not verbally speaking but somewhat asking her if she knew what was up with Ally. Normani scratched her head and shrugged her shoulders and walked towards our table to Ally.

Just as I was about to walk behind Normani, the door swings open and a person walks in with no sign of skin shown as they wore a full body armour. For some reason no one seemed to bring their attention to the person that had slammed opened the door at full force. Looking at the figure, it was creepy that they had a weapon hanging on its side. Am I seriously the only person that has my attention to this unknown person because I know damn well that I don't have an eye impairment.

The person scanned the entire room and soon stopped at me. I slowly took a few steps back until I felt an object hit my back. I turn my head to see that it was only the side of a table and released a breath out to only turn back to see the figure was up in my face. I screamed and tried to run away but I somehow tripped over my own feet and fell on my bottom, using my hands to shield my face as if it was going to save me from danger. I felt a hand pull my hands off my eyes and I saw the person lifting off their helmet and I started to tear up. I wasn't sure if I was feeling relieved or angry but I knew that I looked like a mess. Thank the lord of waterproof mascara. 

"I got you good Hansen." The girl said, kneeling down to give me a hug. I let my tears flow and tried pushing her away from me but I surrendered as I soon reciprocated back with me squeezing her tightly. Just when we released each other from our arms, I gave her a solid punch that would give her a bruise for a few days.

"You little shit! I thought you were hurt!" I said repeatedly slapping her arm. I guess this was what I got for scaring her a few weeks ago about Camila being in the hospital and having amnesia from crashing her head as she fell down the stairs. Though in reality Camila was at home, sleeping in because she stayed up the night before binge watching Chick Flick movies.

"As much as I hate you right now, how in the world did you pull this prank off? No one in the class was scared when you barged into the room. Tell me everything." Lauren laughed and shook her head. Ally and Normani walked to Lauren and gave her a hug after introducing each other. 

"Well ever since my revenge was way overdue, I had to get you back big time so I happen to be good friends with Ally," Lauren brought Ally into her arms and I saw Ally blushed which made me internally squeal OTP, "and she's the best actress in our school. I didn't know how big I wanted this to go but soon later everything came into place and I found out that the lock down was going to happen today for a practice run. I had to take my chances and I am proud to say that the prank went well."

I had to admit that her prank was purely genius. I exaggeratedly groaned and the other girls laughed. Now I had to create a bigger prank to top that off. Back to the drawing board for me. Before coming up with ideas, the bell rings for recess and Normani and I began gathering our things as the four of us headed outside the room. 

Usually at recess it would be Camila, Lauren and I just sitting on the grass near a tree in the far back of the school since no one seemed to hang around there but I secretly want Lauren and Ally to happen so lets see this happen.

"Hey girls do you want to hang out together for recess?" I said casually. Lauren gave me her suspicious look to me but I gave her an innocent look before turning back to Ally who seemed excited. Normani seemed undecided, I don't blame her. It's her first day so she could feel uncomfortable.

"Only if you want Mani. I don't want to pressure you into something you feel uncomfortable to do." Normani looked at me but shook her head.

"I've got to meet with someone first so I'll meet you guys later." I nod my head as the girls and I walked towards our spot and find Camila sitting down, whistling to an Ed Sheeran song. Soon later when we walk closer, Camila feels our presence and immediately looks at Ally with a smirk. Just as we sit down, Camila pounces on Ally, giving her a hug. Oh no, Camila's doing her ritual. Like I said before, Camila has a process when she meets new people and becoming friends with them.

"I'm Camila. You're pretty cute." she winks at Ally, making her laugh in response. Well that was interesting. I thought Ally was going to get red but maybe that's only for Lauren.

"I'm Al-" Ally says before Camila puts her hand over Ally's mouth.

"You're THE Allyson Brooke Hernandez. Very loving, caring, a ball of sunshine and well known of being in lead roles for the drama plays at our school." Camila said, giving a side smirk to Lauren who looked partially embarrassed. 

My mouth dropped at how Camila knew so much about Ally as I was still confused about Lauren's embarrassment. Camila reached for my jaw and closed it to only continue with her methods.

"Ally what do you think about people who are bisexual like ME?" Camila said making sure that 'me' was emphasised. Ally gave a thought and came up with the best response I've heard.

"It's not something a person should have thoughts for someone's sexual orientation. No one has thoughts about heterosexuals so why should any other orientation?" Ally said in a tranquil way. Looking at Camila, she gives another hug to Ally as Lauren looked like she saw her Cinderella. I ship these two. All on board for Alren!

I heard someone clear their throat behind us which caught all our attention. Normani was present and holding onto someone arm. That someone was holding onto a ukulele in their right hand as the other was in their pocket of their grey jumper. The person's head scanned around and when their eyes met mine, I saw a genuine smile. My breath hitched and I'm not going to lie, her smile was probably the cure to everything because it aesthetically looked beautiful. My eyes have been blessed! 

Breaking out of my awe, the girls took a seat and I heard a 'wow' from Camila's direction. She was staring at Normani, up and down, soaking up her entire appearance like a piece of artwork. Another couple I ship! I giggled at her and looked at Y/N who was concentrating to tune the ukulele. At this moment Camila would have taken her normal approach to new people like she did for Ally but for Normani, she immediately began talking to her as if they were friends. Ally and Lauren were conversing and Ally was blushing furiously as Lauren was oblivious to the type of affect she had on her. 

When I look back at Y/N she began playing a few chords and closed her eyes, heightening her hearing. I took this time to take in her features as her Y/C/H was tucked behind her ears with the hoodie covering her head, she had a few freckles on her cheeks that made her look so cute and had dimples on both sides to make her even more adorable than she already was. She opened her eyes and those Y/C/E was probably the most endearing part of her. 

I have got to say that Camila, Ally and I have it bad.
