These last three months have been hell. Bloody. Fucking. Hell. I can't think straight! Kaylee will be three next month (October 3) and I have no fucking idea how the hell to host a three year olds birthday.

Thankfully, the hospital transported Alex to Winslow Hospital, which meant we could move in. Paul, Alex's father, has been staying with us for the last two weeks. He's a big help, especially with taking care of Kaylee while Alex is in this position.

I climb out the car, Kaylee already in Paul's arms. We had to remind her Ally couldn't come to the hospital with us and she through a fit, but eventually gave in and left the cat at home. I've been sleeping on the couch, I refuse to sleep on the "new" bed without Alex. It doesn't feel right.

The elevator ride is too damn long. I haven't seen Alex in two days, and it's making me even crazier. I haven't kissed her, touched her, heard her voice, listened to her laugh in days. It's fucking killing me, too.

The door to Alex's room is already slightly opened. I push it all the way and walk first, finding a tall man standing in front of Alex's bed. Who the hell is this?

"Uhm.. Hi?" He snaps his head up. His eyes meet mine, then Kaylee's.

"I'm.. I'm Keenan." He holds his hand out and I shake it. Paul sets Kaylee on the ground and steps in front of me.

"How the hell?" He asks Keenan and he shrugs his shoulders.

"It doesn't matter." He smiles a crooked grimace. "Kaylee! Daddy's missed you." He holds his arms out for her but she holds onto my shirt, hiding behind my body.

"You're not daddy." She tells him and she looks up to me. "That's Daddy. You're Keenan." I can't help the chuckle that falls from my lips. His expression turns... amused? I bite my lip, I don't have a good feeling about this guy.

"He is, isn't he." Keenan bends down to eye-level with the two year old. "Let me tell you something. I've never been daddy." Whoa.. What? What was a two-year old suppose to get out of that?

"You was daddy, until you died. I told mommy you would come back, but now mommy loves Niall, sorry old-daddy." She smiles, the same one that resembles Alex, and trots over to her mothers bed.

"Mommy? When are you going to wake up! Daddy is driving me crazy." I stifle a laugh as she rest her elbows on the bed and slumps her head in her hands. I assumed I was driving her crazy, I don't know what to do.

"I'm gonna find a restroom," Paul tells us and leaves the room. Keenan takes another step towards me, which is my cue.

"Louis told me you hit her. What the hell is wrong with you?" He laughs, an evil smile across his face.

"She deserves to be beaten, bruised, and tattered. Do you not see the monster you're in love with? She came from nothing. Do you realize she doesn't love you? She's using you for the money, just like she did me. She starts off telling you not to buy her stuff, but you do anyway. You begin to fall for the girl and right before you begin to give up, she snatches you. You're the fish, she's the fisher. Just when you start to nibble at the bait, and get a good grip, she jerks you in. She cheats, lies, tells you she loves you, and you fall for her tears in the end. Just wait. When you finally fall in hard love, with an engagement ring and everything, she'll tell you It's too early and when she gets what she wants, she'll kick you to the curb." Bullshit. "Trust me, I proposed and she said yes. But as soon as I got us a house in Memphis, she ditched me and took my money." What? That's a lie, it can't be true. Atleast, not us. We're different than them, we are different from everyone else. He's lieing, right?
