If I had known how you felt,
Would time just stop for you and I?
If I had known before I left,
Would I always stay by your side?
I didn't know then,
What I do know now.
If I knew what you meant,
Would that change what we have now?
I will never know the answer,
Cause I've never noticed till now.
All these questions without answer,
Will not change what we are now.
When you were there by my side,
I always took you for granted.
Now in my bed as I cried,
I long for your love that I left in my stride.
Now I face to my left,
Your back touching mine.
And you face to your right,
Leaving me one more time.
