What would be better?
If we never started at all,
Before our feelings ever started to fall?
Or if we ended with our feelings still standing tall?
If we never started, then I wouldn't hurt this hard.
If we never started, then my heart would still be whole.
If we never started, then I'd never be this scarred.
If we never started, then no one would fill my heart's empty hole.
But since we have started, I'd never thought I'd be loved.
Since we have started, I'd never thought I'd feel ecstatic.
Since we have started, I'd never thought I'd feel care.
But now we have ended, and all I could do is stare.
I didn't want it to end, neither did you.
But we didn't let it mend, then seperated in two.
Now I miss you, and want to restart,
But time does not mercy, and it broke us apart.
If it never ended, I'd be content just with you.
If it never ended, I'd be whole like I used to.
If it never ended, I'd never leave you.
But since it has ended, time to start anew.............
Without you.
