That's what you were to me.

Yet I held you, your touch freezing cold,
Numbing my skin, numbing my bones.
Ice gradually melting, then fire through my veins.
Gone was the cold, you burned me inside.

Numbing me slowly
Until my body collapses,
and burns me thoroughly
