The Friend in a Xenomorph

Chapter 11: Here starts 9 more years

TIME SKIP! OF 4 DAYS!

Dominick's POV

We arrived at the new school, to keep Conceal... well, concealed, I took my backpack with me while all my other bags got put into someplace else. Like an airport, they had security. Got a little scared when they took my bag and scanned it but I got clearance to pass. Me and other students were placed on busses to go to the boarding school, from what I saw we were on Dwarf Planet LV-957. (Made up for the sake of this story) And considering where LV-957 is, I must very far away from home!

We arrived at the boarding school, it was like Hogwarts except without the magic and less castle. We all got rooms with 3 other roommates, one of them happened to be Larson, the other two were opposite gender Twins, Mary and Jerry. We got set up in the dorm, however the Twins instantly went off so it was just me and Larson.

[Larson]"So, how has my Jar been helping you? Can I see what you have contained!?" I looked at him and rolled my eyes, [Dominick]"Promise not to tell anyone?" [Larson]"Sure Dominick! Let see this thing, for science!"

I took a deep breath and pulled Conceal out of the bag. [Conceal]"Hey now! I was taking a nap! Put away that blinding light!" [Dominick]"Sorry..... See this? This is an Infant Xenomorph!" [Larson]"A baby Xenomorph? Never heard of one before." [Dominick]"Yeah, isn't it adorable? It is so tiny compared to adult ones!" [Larson]"How big are adults?"

I thought about it for a moment, I didn't want to scare him or anything. [Dominick]"Roughly 9 feet tall? Has a tail with a sharp blade at the tip of it, sharp talons and even a second pare of teeth! It's a Carnivore!" [Larson]"That sounds scary.... What are you doing with something like that?" [Dominick]"Uhhh. I'm best friends with one! This little bug happened to sneak into my bag before I left. Her name is Conceal!" [Conceal]"Are you gonna tell him how you know my name?" [Larson]"Did you name it that, the name goes very well!" [Dominick]"I um.... She told me herself!" [Conceal]"Are you kidding me!" [Larson]"How does it talk?" I smiled.

[Dominick]"Telepathically! The Xenomorph talk in their own little 'Hive Mind' I can tap into it!" [Larson]"Well how did you do that!?" [Dominick]"Well Xylia and Sapling did it, it allows me to communicate with them."

[Larson]"How many Xenomorphs do you know exactly?" [Dominick]"5 of them. Xylia, Ivan, Sapling, Demeanor and Conceal!" [Larson]"Dude, what is Conceal saying right now?" I looked down at Conceal, She looked back up at me..... Glaring at me, her gaze was painful. [Dominick]"She's mad that I stuck her in this jar...... I had to stop her from growing."

[Larson]"I take it she can't be found out about? Wait, can't we just mail her back to your house?" A Lightbulb formed in my head! I could mail her back home! Dad would know to send her back to the hive and hide her from the company! I could attach a note. [Dominick]"I wish I would have thought of that sooner!" [Larson]"I'm a nerd remember." We both chuckled. [Conceal]"Good, I need to go home! The Hive needs me!!!!!" [Dominick]"Conceal says that's a good idea, she's happy it will get her home!" [Larson]"No problem Conceal!" Conceal started baring her teeth which freaked Larson out but she was really smiling because of her joy.

[Larson]"Hey um, I'll find the mailing place in this Forsaken School." [Dominick]"Right! Conceal you're going home!!!!" [Conceal]"Are you sure your dad won't kill me like he did with my Mom? Yeah, I know about that."[Dominick]"I'm Sure Dad will hide you, He said he was gonna try to Promise to hide you guys." I put Conceal back in my bag and started thinking.

I thought about the first time I met Xylia. When we would play hide and seek in the hive, when I first heard her voice.... Her enthusiastic voice, and then how we said goodbye, we embraced, we kissed..... I realized I was in love with her....... I looked around, it didn't feel right. How could it be? Xenomorphs are killers, they never hesitate! They were born to kill! They kill at birth for crying out load! And yet, I have feelings..... And I felt her feelings for me. She felt the same way....

Larson came back in the room with a box and mailing stuff. [Larson]"Ok so I asked around and this is what we need to send her back." [Dominick]"Nice." He handed me a pamphlet with directions on it. [Dominick]"This better count towards Home economics!" We followed the directions and in no time we packed Conceal inside, got the fragile sticker on it and filled it with tons of peanuts! I did make sure to keep a lot of them just for fun. I wrote a note for dad telling him what to do, and also a private note for Xylia. Everything was ready.

[Dominick]"See you in 9 years Conceal! Grow big and strong and not stay tiny in that jar." [Conceal]"Oh, I'll make sure to tell Xylia about your feelings for her!" I rolled my eyes, [Dominick]"Don't even think about it! Or I will make sure that jar never opens again." [Larson]"Stop staring at the box! We need to get going!" [Dominick]"Right." We got everything ready and went to the mailing place.

The deed was done, Conceal was being shipped back home. I made sure to leave some lunch meat for her in the jar. I hope she conserves it!

Rodger's POV (also a few days later... Just putting that out there.)

Carla and I were watching TV when the doorbell rang. I sighed, [Rodger]"I bet that's Gareth. Can't you just file for a restraining order against him?" [Carla]"Just answer the door Rodger." I got up and opened the door but to my surprise it was just a box on the ground, addressed from Dominick's Boarding School. It said it was fragile. I shrugged and grabbed the box.

I placed it on the counter and went to get some scissors. [Carla]"Is that a package?" [Rodger]"it's from Dominick." I went ahead and cut open the box. Carla stepped next to me to peek inside.

Definitely did not expect what we saw in the box. Aside from peanuts was a specimen jar with a Chestburster in it and two mail envelopes. One addressed to me and the other addressed for Xylia. I wondered what was inside the one to Xylia. [Carla]"Don't even think about it! You're not reading that one!" She confiscated The Envelope for Xylia so I couldn't read it. I set the specimen jar down, it had the word "Conceal" written on it. I went ahead to read the note addressed to me.

It read: "Dear dad, now would be a good time for your promise to take effect, a small infant Xeno snuck into my bag and I'm returning it back to the hive, do not follow it! Take the note for Xylia and strap it onto Conceal or something. Please do not tell Mr. Carlson"

I sighed, [Rodger]"The Xenomorph stowed away in Dominick's bag! Needs me to send it back to the Hive. This is so gonna kill my career!" [Carla]"Here, I'll take care of this, at least in your defense you didn't do it!" I handed the specimen jar to her and went to sit back down.

Carla Opened the jar and let the Xenomorph out and got some string to tie the note onto it. [Carla]"Rodger, I'm gonna go out back and release Conceal." [Rodger]"You named it?" [Carla]"Dominick made it clear that Conceal is its name." She grabbed the Xenomorph and went out back.

Xylia's POV

[Demeanor]"Xylia, Stop worrying about Dominick, I know you wanna become mates with him after you realized you liked him, but take it from me, He is too young! And he probably does not feel the same way!" [Xylia]"I Know. And With Sapling gone, I feel kinda lonely. Ivan refuses to talk to me because I let Dominick live, and with you, well..... You're just my brother." [Demeanor]"I see you as my Older Sister and friend, I do not see you as a potential Mate, I understand that you wanna be with Dominick. No protest, this is not some Dramatic love triangle!" I sighed and smiled, Dominick will come back when he's an adult, and maybe then I can tell him how I really feel. [Demeanor]"Hold on! Someone entered the hive! Wait, not someone..... Conceal? Why was she even out in the first place?" [Conceal]"Xylia!!! Xylia!!!!" I looked up and saw Conceal run into the room, she was small.... She was born 6 days ago. She should have been full grown the first day [Xylia]"Hey uh... Conceal, what's up and, why are you still tiny?" [Conceal]"I just got back from Boarding school! I somehow got stuck in Dominick's bag! But he sent me back. And this!" Conceal held up an envelope. [Conceal]"Read it in private, I'm not gonna spoil what it says. I honestly wanna see this play out." I grabbed the letter from Conceal and went to my chamber, I sat down and opened the envelope.

It read "Hello Xylia, it's me Dominick. I wanted to talk about what happened last time we saw each other, when we shared that odd moment. I have come to terms with a weird feeling. A feeling you share with me... I know you like me in THAT sort of way, and so do I. But I don't know if I'm ready to embrace it, I'll consider it. ~Dominick"

I smiled. He felt the same way towards me, He Shared my feelings of Love! But he didn't know if he wanted "US" to be a thing or not. I looked at the envelope and smiled. This could be the start of something good between us. Only time will tell.
