Chapter 10: Leaving home

Dominick's POV

Today was Saturday. About 3 days before I leave but my Dad cut the time short and decided I leave today. My Parents told me to get ready. From what I hear they are worried Gareth is gonna win the court battle and take me away, I get he's my biological Dad and all, but I'd take Rodger over him any day of the week.

I got my suitcase out and started packing it with clothes in it, My Mom gave me some spare bags too so I could take some extra stuff with me. I packed gaming systems and bedding and other bits and bobs I had in my room. I then saw the snow globe. Xylia needs to get this! [Dominick]"Xylia?"

I waited a moment...... no response. I called out again [Dominick]"Xylia? You think you can come over here? Maybe bring Demeanor and I guess Ivan? Sapling if you can find her?"

Nothing. I zipped up my bags and suitcase and put them on my bed when I heard a knock on the window. Sure enough it was Xylia. I smiled and opened the window, I then let her in. [Xylia]"Sorry for the wait, the others couldn't make it... Anyway I heard you call for me, after what happened yesterday! Why did you ask me to come back?" [Dominick]"I need to leave early. So that Gareth can't get me." [Xylia]"Is that the man your Dad pushed me off of?" [Dominick]"Yeah. He's my biological Dad. Also while I'm gone, please don't kill my Step-Dad.... Rodger? Even if he is your sworn enemy or something, just please wait until I get back for all that nonsense. Take a pinky promise!" [Xylia]"We already made one, But I do promise."

We pinky promised. [Dominick]"Just to make sure. Hey, here's something I wanted to give to you." I grabbed the Snow Globe and handed it to her. [Xylia]"Hey. This is that snow globe you talked about, thank you." She grabbed it then hugged me. She was so warm, normally she doesn't give off body heat meaning she must be very happy. [Dominick]"You're so warm, like a heated blanket." [Xylia]"I'll take that as a complement." I smiled and looked up at her.

The next thing that happened felt like pure delusion, but she pressed her lips against mine and the next thing I knew we were kissing, and I was enjoying it.

But I eventually came back to my senses and broke it up then looked at her in a surprised confusion. We both started getting red, Xylia's face literally started getting red! Blush! [Xylia]"Oh my....... I'm so so sorry, I don't know what happened there!" She backed away to the window. I was too flushed to even be fazed that she left the room, I was just standing there in deep thought trying to compute what happened. Did we just............. I stopped thinking about it.

I went back to packing.... I then remembered everything was packed. I was so disoriented I forgot what I was doing. That's when my Door opened, it was Dad. I held back the flushed look but my Dad took instant notice of it. [Rodger]"Dominick? You look like your burning up, are you ok?" Apparently I also forgot how to talk because nothing was coming out of my mouth, I shook everything off and sighed. [Dominick]"I..." I was cut off. [Rodger]"You were saying goodbye to Xylia, weren't you." I looked down and started fidgeting with my hands. [Dominick]"Yeah."

[Rodger]"Look, can you tell me how you didn't end up on the Xenomorph's kill list?" [Dominick]"Well, Xylia was sad about the death of the Hive, when I offered to be her friend she accepted. Her and her siblings love having my company."

[Rodger]"When it comes down to it, I'm proud of you. I don't know one person who could stand up to Xenomorph and ask to be their friend." [Dominick]"Can you promise not to hurt them though? Xylia promised not to kill you, I think it's fair you do the same."

[Rodger]"Xylia wants to kill me? No surprise there I suppose." [Dominick]"Yeah." [Rodger]"If Carlson Corp tells me to kill them I can't question them or I'll be fired!" [Dominick]"it's better to be fired doing what you believe in then being forced to do something you hate!" [Rodger]"Wise words you have there. Look, I'll try to keep this promise, but no promises, let's go."

Me, Mom and Dad carried all my bags out to the car and headed down to the space docks. It was time to leave, Mom, Dad, Edith and James were all there to say goodbye. [Rodger]"See you later." [Carla]"I'll see you about 9 years from now bud!" [Edith]"See you little bro." [James]"By squirt.... Rival!" I said bye and went on board. I was certainly gonna miss them.

TIME SKIP!!!!!!

I was sitting in my cabin, the ship used to transport people to this school was more like a space cruise with the rooms and such. I was on my Phone messing around when I heard my bag fall onto the floor, I sighed and went over to it.

As I lifted it to put it back I saw the bag move..... Something was in the bag! I opened it and dumped everything out, and out came a Tiny Snake that looked like a Xenomorph......... it WAS a Xenomorph though! It moved off the pile on junk that came from my bag and moved towards my food cooler, it was hungry no doubt.

I cleaned everything up and went over to look at it. [Dominick]"What did you do Xylia! Hey there little guy, what are you up too?" it stopped and looked up at me. I picked it up and set it on the bed, then went back to the cooler to grab some lunch meat ham.

I sat down next to the baby Xenomorph and opened up the ham, it climbed up on my lap and started whining, definitely wants the meat. I pulled a slice of ham out and placed it on the plate I got out, it jumped onto the plate and gobbled the ham. [Dominick]"How did Xylia sneak you into my bag?" I looked at the bag it came from and realized it was my school backpack. It must have gotten in there on one of my visits to the hive...... Curses. [Conceal]"Hey there, sorry for the lack of introductions, I'm Conceal! Nice to meet you." I frowned and looked down at "Conceal" [Dominick]"Well I think you Concealed yourself in my bag... You realize you're stuck with me for 9 years right?" [Conceal]"What?"

[Dominick]"Please refrain from growing up please, stay a baby Xenomorph." [Conceal]"How do you expect me to do that!? My kind grows up go adult hood in like a day or two!" I thought a moment, and bingo! [Dominick]"I've got it, Animals can't grow if the space they're in can't support their full size. We should get you something that will stop you from growing, like a specimen jar!" [Conceal]"What! For '9' years! Get me back home!"

[Dominick]"Well, I need to go get something." I walked off to try to find a jar, I met a person named Larson. He was a nerd who happened to have a containment jar.

I came back to see Conceal had broken into my lunch meat. [Dominick]"Conceal! Get out of that!" I grabbed Conceal's tail and moved her into the Jar and closed her in. [Conceal]"Dominick!!!!! Get me out of here!!!!" I cleaned up her mess and put everything away. I then grabbed a laser knife and walked over to Conceal's Jar. [Conceal]"Don't even think about it you sicko!" [Dominick]"I didn't realize infant Xenomorph Were so sassy." [Conceal]"Ha ha! If you don't get me out of this thing, I will force myself into a Queen and crush you!"

I grabbed the jar and started cutting into it. When I was done, the jar had a small hole in it so Conceal could breathe and get food. [Dominick]"There we go. Breathe hole and feed hole." [Conceal]"I'm so kicking your butt when I get out of this jar!" [Dominick]"I think you should have thought of that before you snuck into my backpack!" And with that I placed the jar on my side table and went back to playing on my phone.

Conceal was definitely mad at me. I looked back at her and saw her angrily glaring at me. She was definitely a Chestburster with attitude!
