Chapter 38: A Predator's Protégé

Larson's POV

I was in Dominick's Mom's spaceship, headed for a Yautja ruled planet. The one our Predator friend lives at. Never had I thought we'd be headed there. (THIS IS NOT AN AVP UNIVERSE! IT'S A UNIVERSE THAT HAS BOTH ALIENS AND PREDATORS IN IT!)

I sat upfront next to Dominick's Mom Carla. Haven't seen her in 2 years! [Carla]"Look Larson, I won't be able to accompany you when you reach the ground. Are you sure this is the safest way to recruit this Predator? Besides, isn't this the same one that disabled my ship and had it dump into the water?" [Larson]"I understand, and yes, I'm sure he can help us though." [Jenny]"yeah, let's be careful." I nod at Jenny. Randy was scared but I know Jenny will do something for that.

We head closer, with the planet in sight we got ready to go in. [Jenny]"So, how do we know where he lives?" [Larson]"Relax, about a month ago I got a hologram from him. He said he was impressed by me and that I had potential. After all, I did invent something that can mess up their tech, I got one of their ships working on my own." [Jenny]"So, he wants to train you then?" [Larson]"Yeah, and I thought taking up his offer would be a great way to get him working with us!" [Jenny]"I suppose besides Dominick, you did do the most work!" [Larson]"Yeah, all you and Randy need to do is just follow me. He gave me this card thing as a pass or something, so nobody kills us." [Jenny]"Ok? Why wouldn't he?" [Larson]"Meh, you're right. Let's just get this done with."

We all took our seats as Carla piloted the ship down to the surface of the planet. We landed in what seemed to be a settlement or town.

I took out a piece of paper which had the Predator's house location on it. Me, Jenny and Randy got air filter masks on and went ahead to find his house.

We started walking towards our destination when a predator spotted us. I got out my pass card and held it up for it to see. It seemed to grunt but walked away.

[Jenny]"Ok that was freaky, after last time I'm officially freaked put by these Yautjas!" [Larson]"Nah Jenny, I feel the same way sometimes." We followed the map till we found the right place. [Randy]"Can we go inside now?" I rolled my eyes. [Larson]"Yes randy, let's go."

The 3 of us entered the house. It was cozy. And there were Trophies on the wall. [Jenny]"Hey look, there's a tag here for this empty shelf. It says Ryders' Head." [Larson]"He kept Ryders' head?" [Predator]"Yes I did, although someone stole it, it was terrible! Anyway now, I can see you accepted the invitation."

I turn around to see the Predator. [Larson]"Oh yeah, I did! Look I know it's on short notice but we actually need your help." [Predator]"With what?" I sighed. [Larson]"Well, The ol' group is in a pickle again. With Dominick and all. Basically Carlson's Son is doing something, trying to save humanity? Slayrogin are gonna try to destroy earth! That's what's up." [Predator]"I see. The Slayrogin... our race rivals them a lot. You need my help with this. There's plenty of good in helping strong willed allies. Although if we do team up, it might be a good idea to get some training in?" [Larson]"That's the second reason why I'm here! Never had a good time to come that's all. This is the best excuse for coming I've got."

[Predator]"Well then, let's begin shall we? Also, you don't need to wear hose air filtration masks." I smile. [Larson]"oh, okay." We all took our masks off. [Jenny]"Anyway guys, you have fun Larson, I'm gonna stay behind and hold down the fort! And keeping Randy from trouble." [Randy]"I'm right here Boss! Try to insult me when I'm not around, at least then I wouldn't hear you." [Jenny]"See?" [Larson]"No problem. Let's get down to business."

The Predator grabbed a big bag of stuff and we got going. It's so exiting that a Predator is training me to be all hip and cool. I roll my eyes at the thought and continue following the Predator.

[Larson]"Um Mr. Predator? I don't think we ever caught your name." [A'staad]"Ah yes, my name is A'staad." [Larson]"Nice to formally meet you then A'staad. I guess you're kinda my teacher then?" [A'staad]"You could say that." [Larson]"I have one more Question, I went to some library and looked your species up. And yadda yadda, I happened to know you were a bad blood. How did ya get back in?"

[A'staad]"I was hunting with my brothers. Just a couple of unblooded. Our Father took us to a planet some ways from this one to hunt some Oomans from a colony. We found a Xenomorph and I was dared to get it. I killed it and was about to take my win when my brothers attacked and stole my kill. I got mad... after I saw what I did, I ran away afterwards. When I finally came back. I expected to be killed, but to my surprise. They didn't. They were reasonable since my brothers tried to wrong me, which is not honorable. They're still discussing punishment though, so it's not like I'm in the clear." [Larson]"Man, and I though humanity's ways were confusing." A'staad chuckled. [A'staad]"I say the same thing about Oomans."
