Mick and John looked up as Stevie and Lindsey pulled the drawstrings tight on their plastic bags.

"It's a good thing they give you that kind so nothing gets lost or wet." Mick said.

Lindsey nodded.

"That's probably the very reason why they give you these kinds of bags." He said.

"Well, be sure to pull them tight then because John and I want to go on some of the water rides next." He said, pointing to the map. "We're both feel like we're going to burn up."

"Same here." Lindsey said, as Stevie nodded in agreement. "So, water park, then?"

"Well, here's the thing....Mick and I have been looking at the map and the water park is on the other side of the park, but on the way there, there are a couple of log jams and a ride called Whitewater Canyon which looks like a rapids ride. So we thought we'd hit those first on the way over to the water park. How 'bout it?"

"Sounds good to me." Lindsey said.

"Me too." Stevie added.

"Well, let's get going then before we melt." Mick said, as he and John stood up.

After about a ten minute walk, they came upon a huge Log Jam ride.

"Congo Falls." Mick said, reading the sign. "Well, everyone up for this one?"

"Um...I don't know about this one, Mick..." Lindsey said.

"Why not?"

"Well...look at it." Lindsey said, pointing to the ride. "All we would do is go up a hill, around a bend and back down. The line for it is pretty long and I'm not sure I wanna stand in line for a half hour for something that will only last about a minute."

Mick scratched his beard as he thought it over. He glanced over at the long line and nodded.

"I think you're right, Lindsey. There's no shade while you're standing in line and I don't think it's worth it either to go through all of that and be over and done with it in less than a minute. I think we should just keep walking."

Everyone nodded and they started off again. As they passed by a huge deck overlooking the ride. Lindsey suddenly stopped everyone.

"Wait a minute. Stevie go over and stand up against the deck." He said.

"Why?"

"Cause..." Lindsey said, fiddling through her tote bag. "I wanna get a picture of you. I think it would look neat to have you stand there with that huge ride in the background."

"Hey, good idea, mate." Mick said. "Hand me my camera."

"Mine too." John said.

"You're all gonna take a picture of me?" Stevie asked.

"Yes, why is there a law against multiple shots of you?" Lindsey asked.

"No, I guess not." Stevie said, sighing. "Just make it quick, okay."

As everyone nodded, she passed her bags off to them and walked over to the deck. She reached the wooden railing, turned around, and leaned up against it as the three men readied their cameras.

"Okay, Stevie..." Mick called out. "We all know how much you like to pout in pictures. But, we'd rather you smiled this time."

"Yeah, show us that beautiful smile, Angel!" Lindsey added.

They nodded as Stevie gave them a huge grin. They raised their cameras and aimed carefully as Stevie stood and posed.

Suddenly, just as they snapped their pictures, a huge wave of water came up onto the deck as a boat quickly rounded the corner just below the deck. Stevie screamed as she was drenched from head to foot and ran back towards the others.
