"So, how was it?" Mick asked as they walked away.

"Boring, but relaxing. Stevie didn't like when I rocked her though." Lindsey replied, snickering.

"No, I didn't." Stevie said.

"You didn't? That's the best part of riding those Ferris wheels is the rocking you do when you get to the very top." Mick said.

"I know! I was just trying to be traditional for Stevie's benefit." Lindsey replied, nodding.

Stevie rolled her eyes as the men laughed.

"Immature minds think alike, I see." She muttered.

"Hey, The Scrambler." Lindsey said, as they walked up to the next ride. "Do you like that one, Steves?"

Stevie nodded. Lindsey grinned and took her hand as they walked towards the line. He looked back and noticed Mick and John following them.

"Oh, you guys finally found something else you like?" he said.

"Yeah, this one's okay." Mick replied. "I'm bored with standing around anyway."

"I bet..." Lindsey said, as they got into line.

"Hey..." Lindsey called out to Mick and John as he and Stevie sat down in a car. "Why are you going over there? There's an empty one right beside us."

"It's no fun being on the same group of cars as you. We wanna be over here so we can pretend we're gonna hit you guys." Mick said, laughing.

"Oh! Okay!" Lindsey said, as he pulled the little door closed.

He locked it and sat down beside Stevie as they waited for the ride to begin.

"Hey, what time is it, Linds?" Stevie asked.

Lindsey checked his watch.

"7:12." He said.

Stevie whistled.

"Wow, we've been here over twelve hours. We've had a full day." She said.

"Yeah, I know. I got a bit of a tan going now." Lindsey said, looking at his arm.

He looked at Stevie's arm.

"You do too..." he added.

Stevie touched her skin.

"Glad it's a tan and not a burn." She said. "Especially since you have to tusk me in concert."

Lindsey chuckled.

"Yeah, and the critics would have a field day talking about your peeling skin." He said.

He kissed her.

"You look good though, babe. You're just the right amount of brown. I would have been unhappy if you had looked like a baked potato or something."

"You wouldn't have been as unhappy as I would have, trust me." Stevie replied.

"Ulp, here we go..." Lindsey said as the ride started to move slowly.

They passed by Mick and John as the ride slowly gathered up speed.

"Better pray we don't crash into you lot." Mick said, chuckling, as they went by.

"I'd say the same for you two." Lindsey called back.

They went to the barrier and spun around as the ride went faster and faster.

"Wheeeee!" Lindsey said, as the car raced towards the opposite side.

"Ooof!" Lindsey grunted as the car stopped short and Stevie slid into him.

"Sorry..." Stevie said, as they spun around and raced to the front barrier.

"Gotta hang on there, Steves." Lindsey said, smiling at her.

"I did hang on, but it's been years since I've ridden this...I forgot how sudden the stop was." Stevie said, gripping the little door.

"Well, get a good grip cause here comes the barrier." Lindsey said.

The car jerked to a stop and Lindsey grunted and held on tight as he felt his butt wanting to slide to the other side.

As they spun around and headed towards the back, they saw Mick and John speeding towards them.

"HA, HA! PREPARE FOR DEATH...OH NUTS, WE MISSED THEM!" Mick said, as they went past.

Lindsey looked back at Mick and John and giggled as they gave him glaring looks.

"NEXT TIME, MATE! WE WILL KILL YOU FOR SURE!" Mick cried out, as he jabbed a finger at his car.

"NOT IF WE KILL YOU FIRST!" Lindsey yelled back as the car spun around and headed towards the side barrier.

"Ahhhh! Oh no, Steves! We're heading towards our doom!" Lindsey cried out to Stevie as the car headed towards the barrier. "Goodbye, my love...oh, phew, we didn't crash...what a relief!" he said, as the car stopped and spun around.

He smiled at Stevie as she giggled and swat his arm playfully.

As they went the other way, they saw Mick and John heading towards them again.

"AHA! WE MEET AGAIN!" Mick yelled out. "SAY YOUR PRAYERS! YOU TWO ARE GOING DO....OH CRAP, MISSED AGAIN!" Mick said, as they went past.

Stevie giggled.

"You guys are insane." She said, shaking her head.

"Well, duh, why do you think I entitled an album that way?" Lindsey said, tickling her ribs.

Stevie giggled as she kissed him on the lips.

"HEY! QUIT MAKING OUT OVER THERE AND BATTLE US!"

Lindsey looked up and saw they were heading for Mick and John again.

"YOU TWO ARE SO PATHETIC IN YOUR ATTEMPTS TO KILL US THAT I CAN MAKE OUT WITHOUT WORRYING!" he yelled back at them.

"WE WILL GET YOU THIS TIME! PREPARE TO BE ANNIHALATED...DAMMIT! WE MISSED AGAIN!"

Lindsey threw his hands up in the air.

"BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME..."

He looked over as the ride began to slow and looked back.

"SCRATCH THAT, I GUESS THERE ISN'T GONNA BE A NEXT TIME!" he said, shrugging.

"JUST YOU WAIT, WE'LL GET YOU YET!" Mick cried out.

"YEAH, YEAH, ALL BLOW AND NO SHOW!" Lindsey said, as the ride came to a stop.

"Hurry John!" Mick said, unlocking his door. "Get em before they get out of their car!"

Lindsey quickly unlocked his door and he and Stevie jumped down as Mick and John ran up to them.

"Come back here you cowards and face your destruction!" Mick cried out as the four of them ran laughing towards the exit.
