"Finished?" Mick asked as he and John walked up to Stevie and Lindsey.

"Yeah, she ran outta steam finally." Lindsey said, as he bent down and gasped out air. "One thing about Stevie, she is persistent."

"Well, stop pestering me and you wouldn't be outta breath half the time." Stevie said.

"Pestering you is fun, though." Lindsey said, leaning back up.

"Well, then suffer the consequences." Stevie replied.

"Well, before you two get onto another rant and end up chasing each other around the park again, what's say we move on?" Mick said.

"Fine by me. Just let me get a Coke over here first." He said, pointing to a booth.

As Mick and John nodded, Lindsey walked over to the booth. As he reached the counter, he felt someone brush up against him and turned to see Stevie was behind him.

"I was thirsty too." She said.

"Can I help you?" a woman said coming up to the counter.

"Yeah, I'd like a Coke and...what do you want, Steves?" he asked, looking at her.

"Lindsey...Stop paying for me." Stevie said.

"I don't mind, Angel. Besides, you have to shift through the tote bag to get your purse and sift through that. I have my wallet out so...what do you want?"

"Oh....Um...A lemonade." Stevie said.

As the woman nodded and went to get their drinks, Stevie tapped Lindsey on the shoulder.

"I'll pay you back, I promise." She said.

"You will do no such thing. I said it was my treat and it is. I don't expect you to pay me back for anything." Lindsey said.

Stevie smiled.

"Thanks, Linds." She said.

"You're welcome, Angel." Lindsey replied, kissing her cheek.

He nodded his thanks as he took the two large cups from the woman. He handed the lemonade to Stevie and both of them walked back to Mick and John.

"According to this map, we're in the kids section now." John said, as they walked under a huge arched sign.

"Is there anything here for adults to do?" Lindsey asked, looking back at him.

"Well, there's a...roller coaster..."

Stevie jerked her head over at Lindsey as his eyes lit up.

"Reeeeeeally?" Lindsey said, giggling. "You don't say..."

He shot Stevie a pointed look.

"It's probably for little kids, Lindsey." She said, smugly. "You probably can't ride it!"

"Well...we won't know until we go check it out, will we?" Lindsey replied.

"Which way is it?" he asked John.

"Right." John said, pointing.

Lindsey nodded and began to walk away. He got past a row of tall shrubs and stopped. He stared off to his right for a moment and then, he walked back with a smug grin.

"I see adults riding it." He said, smirking. "So...guess who's gonna go on it with me."

"Mick!" Stevie said.

"Nope..." Lindsey said, grinning at her.

"John!"

"Guess again!"
