A day at King's Island

"So, now what?" Mick asked, as Stevie and Lindsey walked up to them.

"Why don't we go find something else and dry off for awhile and maybe come back to this later." Lindsey offered.

Mick looked at the drenched pair and laughed.

"Yeah, I can see why you would want to dry off, Mate." He said.

"Yeah...Things got a little bit interesting down there."

Mick snorted.

"I think for the two of you, that's a given." He said. "But if you guys want to move on and do something else for awhile, that's fine with me."

"Me too." John said.

"And me...but I'm also hungry. Do you think we could maybe find somewhere to eat? A sit down place, not a concession stand."

"Yeah..." Lindsey said, nodding. "I'd like to eat too pretty soon."

"Well, let's retrieve our bags and get the map and see where the eateries are and plot a course to it like we did to this water park." Mick said.

Everyone nodded in agreement and they went to get their things.

"Well..." Mick said, as he glanced at the map. "It looks like there are a couple of restaurants, but they're back near the entrance, so we can circle around and perhaps ride a few of the rides on the way?"

He looked at Stevie.

"Or are you wanting to eat right now?"

"No, I can wait. I just don't want to wait till late tonight." Stevie replied.

"Okay, well let's get going then." Mick said, putting the map back in the tote bag.

After about ten minutes, they came up a gigantic roller coaster.

"The Vortex." Lindsey said, reading the sign. "Coooooool!"

He craned his neck up and whistled.

"Damn, this son of a bitch is big!" he said. "This must be the one we saw coming in."

He grinned at Stevie.

"I'm sorry, Steves. But I just have to go on this! My testosterone demands it!"

He looked over and pointed to a bench.

"You can sit over there if you want Angel. And there's a concession stand over there where you can get something to drink. And you'll have your journal this time."

He looked over at Mick and John.

"You coming with me?"

"You have to ask?" Mick said, grinning.

Lindsey chuckled. He kissed Stevie on the cheek.

"We won't be too long, hopefully, Angel. It doesn't look like there's that long a line. We'll see you in a few."

He squeezed her shoulder and then, turned to Mick and John.

"Shall we?" he asked them.

"You first." Mick said, motioning in front of them.

Lindsey grinned and walked to the front. As he neared the back of the line. He suddenly heard Mick mutter "Huh? What are you doing?". He turned around and noticed Stevie was following them.
