Jetlagged Connection - Part 14.5

The crowd roared as the curtains closed. I hugged Jordan and then ran. Not even a goodbye. I didn't have time.

I burst through the office doors and up the concrete steps. My parents were there in the car, with engine running as we hurried to the airport.

The flight was long but I slept through most of it. I woke for my midnight dinner of pasta and lemonade before I played on my 3ds.

We landed at 4 in the morning in Canada but for our body clocks it was 9 and we were exhausted. My grandad picked us up and we went home.

I passed out in the car but I was carried into uncle Josh's old room to sleep.

I spent the next two days just talking to relatives. But finally the big day arrived. Christmas day!

I woke at 7 and went straight downstairs. I boiled the kettle and made teas before going to wake everyone.

I got clothes and video games, sweets and treats and jewellery galore. I gave everyone their presents. It was about 5 when the doorbell rang. Uncles have arrived.

They came in after being tackled with hugs. We talked for a little, asking how the play went and I asked how their families are doing. I went to go retrieve their gifts when I saw my phone ringing on my bed. Jordan...

I answered to hear him very relieved."Lilac, finally. I thought you weren't going pic up."

"Sorry busy with family like always. Call me on my laptop in 5 minutes, then we can talk" I replied before hanging up without letting him answer.

I went downstairs and gave them the presents. It's only chocolate and sweets but what else do you want from a 14 year old?

I asked if I could go call with Jordan. Nobody was very happy but they let me have half an hour.

I ran up the stairs and went to my laptop. Jordan was calling and I answered.

"Sorry but if we called later in your timezone it'd be very late here." He apologized.

"I know."

"Next Christmas, you're definitely having it at mine. I miss you." He said.

Jordan's P.O.V

I looked through my computer screen after I said that to find her staring into my eyes. Maybe it froze?

"Lilac?"

"Follow along..."

I nodded in understanding and waited for her to start.

"You say good morning, when it's midnight" she said.

"Going out of my head, alone in this bed"

"I wake up to your sunset, it's drivin' me mad" Lilac replied.

"I miss you so bad and my heart, heart, heart is so jet lagged"

We smiled at one another. Lil...

Lilac's P.O.V

We talked until everyone was yelling for me to go back downstairs and join the family. I left the call with him sweetly saying good night to me.

Five more days and I'll be home,
I hate the thought of you alone.

Here's your Christmas present guys. I had been looking forward to writing these chapters for a while and I am soooooooo looking forward to writing the next one. Hope you guys like the double upload.

I just wanna say this has been an ok year. I have made lots of new friends like Shady, Becca and lots of others! I started planning my first book in mid January and in a few months I have grown to having 5 books to my name. Here's to a great 2018!
