Forget You Too Maddy

Maddy's POV:

Brendan and I were still in the car on the way to this really nice restaurant apparently.

I'm not fine with him getting me dinner but a date is a date so I let it slide.

I couldn't stop thinking about what happened in my room, it just happened to fast.

I was frozen until Brendan put his hand on my leg. It was really cold.

"Are you Okay?" He looked at me concerned. He had a small smile on his face

"I'm fine..." I lied, I wasn't fine. I just kissed a guy who I think I have feelings for.. but then again Jake.. I wanna be with Jake.. but I like Brendan..

Urgh.

"We're here.." He says opening my door for me as I stepped out looking up at a small Southern restaurant. It reminded me of home..

"Southern? Really Brendan?"

"I figured you might have missed your home so I picked something close to it.." Wow, He's too sweet. I can't possibly leave this guy..

I smiled at him as he grabbed my hand and I allowed him to.

I followed him in, the restaurant had light brown walls filled with chickens and plants. It was really like the South.

There were people laughing and it was a packed place, I'm shocked we had a spot.

Brendan walks up to the counter and whispers in the lady's ear. She nodded and led us to a table that was in the back corner, away from everyone else.

"Here we are. Table two, Mr. North."

The lady walks away as I sit down in my seat Brendan let me in.

He sat down right in front of me and had the biggest smile on his face.

"All on me.. pick whatever you like.."

"Brendan you ca-"

"Yes, I can."

I nodded and looked down at my menu. I ended up ordering crab cakes because I wasn't that hungry and it wasn't that expensive.

Brendan ordered steak, I'm not really a meat lover.

Once the waitress got our drinks and orders, Brendan and I were left alone.

"So, you liking LA so far?"

"Yeah.. I mean It's alright.. it's very different from where I come from.."

"Yeah it really is, I know it's been crazy the past few days... I just want you to know that I'm not rushing whatever is going on between us.. I know that we just met.. but I really wanna make this work.."

"I know Brendan, you don't have to explain it to me.." I put my hand on top of his, rubbing it gently. This calmed him, this reassured him..

Fuck you, Maddy.. you're playing with this guys heart...

We got our meals and ate them pretty quickly.

I stopped and looked up at Brendan who was paying the bill. Thank the Lord, this night wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

My phone started ringing.

It was Sab. I answered the phone and put my hand on my face.

"Brendan... Logan got into a fight..."

Brendan and I got in the car as quickly as we could.

I was panicking and Brendan was trying to calm me down

"Maddy It's gonna be okay, everything is gonna be fine Maddy. I'm here and I'm not gonna let anything happen to you."

He kept on glancing back and forth looking at me all concerned.

"It's gonna be fine.. Maddy.." He looked at me one last time..

"BRENDAN! KEEP DRIVING!" I yelled as I held on the side of the car tightly. We both stood there frozen as we heard a loud honk and then everything just went blank.

It was black.. And Brendan and I were stuck.
