As you, Beverly, and the boys were riding to Ben's house, you heard a few ambulances rush past. "I wonder what that's about." You said. As you reached the destination, a woman stapled a missing kid poster on a post. It had information about a girl named Morgan Young, who was your best friend. (A/N if this is either your first or last name I'm sorry, just change it lmao.) You didn't know this yet, but she was dead. You all ignored the woman and entered Ben's house.
Ben ran inside and started cleaning up all of his New Kids on the Block merchandise. He shoved it all into his closet about the same time all of you guys walked in. Richie and Eddie were talking about god knows what. "I heard he has like a rollercoaster, a pet chimpanzee, and like some old guys fucking bones," Richie said. "That's so cool!" Eddie said. "Jesus guys, shut the fuck up, you've been talking about random shit forever." You snapped. "Damn someone's on her time of the month," Richie said. You rolled your eyes and looked at the walls. There were newspaper clippings everywhere. "Woah Woah Woah, wow!" Richie exclaimed. "Cool, right?" Ben asked. "No! No, nothing cool." Richie replied. "This is cool." Eddie held up something. "Nope, no it's not." He placed it back down. "What's that?" Stan asked while pointing to a picture on the wall. "Oh, that? That's the charter for Derry township."
"Nerd alert," Richie said while chuckling. "No, actually it's really interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp." "Still is, am I right boys?" Richie exclaimed while holding up his hand for a high five but got rejected by both Eddie and Stan. "91 people signed the charter for Derry, but later that winter they all disappeared without a trace."
"The entire camp?" Eddie asked. You and Bill looked up. "There are rumors of Indians but no sign of an attack. Everyone just thought it was the Plague or something. But, it's like one day everyone just woke up and left."
"It doesn't make sense." You said aloud. "The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house," Ben said. "Jesus," Eddie said. "Where was the well house?" Bill asked. "I don't know, somewhere in town I guess, why?" Ben replied. Bill had an idea.
__________
Eddie was walking back home. He passed the church and heard the singing inside. He started whistling the "Star Spangled Banner." He passed the creepy house on Neibolt street. He got strange vibes while passing it. He stared at the house, examining it. His alarm went off to take his pills just at the right time. He quickly opened his fanny pack and grabbed a pill. He heard a low grunting sound inside the house. The door creaked open. It made the ghoulish noise once more. Eddie froze in his tracks. "Eddie, what are you looking for?" The voice asked in a low, raspy tone. Eddie started to make a run for it, but he dropped his pill case. "Shit.." He whispered under his breath. He lowered to grab them. He put all but one back in the case. As he reached for the last one, a hand reached for the pill and picked it up. The hand wasn't normal, though. It had wraps around it and it was skinny and it just looked gross.
"Do you think this will help me, Eddie?" It asked. Eddie looked up and realized it was a Leper.
Eddie leaped back and tried to run away from it. He was on the verge of an asthma attack. The leper kind of limped while running towards him. Eddie got up and started running towards a fence. The leper started to swing at him. "Help!" He screamed. Eddie ran through the Neibolt yard and ended up at a fence. He stopped, knowing he was at a dead end. The leper was gone, but what stood in his place was a clown holding up a ton of balloons. He let them go just high enough so his face would show. He gave Eddie a sinister smile.
"Where ya goin', Eds?" The clown asked. "If you lived here, you'd be home right now." Eddie stared in fear. "Come join the clown, Eds. You'll float down here. We all float down here, yes we do." Eddie screamed as Pennywise let out an evil, scary laugh. Eddie went through a hole in the fence and all of the balloons popped. The clown was gone.
__________Beverly walked into her house and plopped onto her bed. She unzipped her book bag and out fell a poem. She looked at it and smiled while getting up and walking into the bathroom. She sat in her bathtub and read the poem aloud.
"Your hair is winter fire...
"January embers..."
"My heart burns there too."
She smiled and pressed the poem to her chest.
"Beverly." A small voice called from her sink drain. "Beverly." It called again. She looked up. "Help me. Please help me. We all want to meet you, Beverly. We float down here."
Beverly got out of the bathtub and stepped towards the sink. She looked down the drain. "Hello? Who are you?" She asked. "I'm Veronica." The little girl said. "Betty Ripsom." The other voice said. "Patrick Hockstetter." The last voice said. "Come closer. Do you want to see? We float." Veronica said. "We change." She said, her voice sounding demonic. Beverly plastered a confused look on her face and walked out of the bathroom. She went into the living room and grabbed the tape measure on the coffee table.
She walked back into the bathroom and started pulling the tape on the measure down into the drain. She kept going until it reached a ridiculous amount. She pulled it back up, with some of it covered in her hair that she chopped off. The only weird part about it, was that it was drenched in blood. She tried to pull the rest of the tape out, but a black string came off of the tape measure and wrapped around her wrist, making the tape measure fall. The string wrapped around her whole body and it pulled her closer to the faucet."Daddy!" She called. "Help!"
A pool of blood rushed out of the drain, splashing Beverly and covering her and her bathroom. The string went back into the drain and Beverly fell down and scooted away into a corner. The blood stopped and Beverly started crying. Her dad busted into the bathroom. "What the hell is going on?"
"The sink...There's blood, it's..." She said shakily. "What blood?" Her dad asked.
The sink, you don't see it? There was blood." She tried to say other things but she was too shook up. "You worry me, Bevvie. You worry me a lot. "
"You don't see it?" She asked.
"Why'd you do this to your hair?" He asked while running his fingers through her drenched hair, but he couldn't feel it. "Makes you look like a boy."
