It was finally time for Bill to pick you up. You just finished waving your hair and putting on a decent amount of mascara and a little bit of eyeshadow. As soon as you finished slipping your shoes on, there was a knock at the door. You jolted up and ran towards the door. You opened it up and there stood Bill. He had on a tuxedo. "Woah, Y/n you look s-stu-stunning," Bill said.

You blushed as you walked out of the house. Bill put his arm awkwardly around you as he walked you to his mom's car. He opened up the door for you and you got in. He closed it and got in the seat next to you. You put your hand on top of his throughout the car ride.
"Alright, here we are. I'll come and pick you up at 10!" His mom said. Bill got out of the car and opened up your door. He grabbed your hand and you got out of the car. He waved to his mom and walked into the gymnasium. "So I'm pretty sure Ben is going with Beverly, but I don't know about the others." You said while entering. The gymnasium was decorated with fake palm trees and painted oceans. It was a summer theme, so I guess it was fine. The disco ball was spinning slowly and different colored lights flickered all through the gym.
Eddie and Stan walked over to you both with snow cones in their hands. "Hey, guys," Stan said while waving. "Where's Richie, Y/n?" Eddie asked.
"Right here," Richie said while walking up behind you. You jumped and hit him on the shoulder. "How the hell did you get here?" You asked. "There's this thing called a bike, Y/n. You know, the things that have wheels." You rolled your eyes. "Have any of you seen Ben or Beverly?" You asked. "Nah, they said they were coming, though," Eddie said. You nodded.
The song "Forever Young" by Alphaville came on. Bill looked at you. "Y/n?" He asked. "M-Ma-May I have this dance?" He held out his hand and his cheeks turned red. "Yes, you may." You said while smiling. You took his hand and he led you to the dance floor. He put his hands on your waist and you put your hands around your neck.
"Since when?" Eddie asked Richie, pointing to you and Bill. "You didn't notice? They've been together for a while now. You didn't see them making out at the quarry?" Richie said. Eddie nodded slowly and watched you both dance.
You both started swaying to the slow song. You put your head on Bill's shoulder and continued to slow dance to the song. The lights dimmed and the light of the disco ball sparkled on your eyes. You lifted your head and looked up at Bill. "Y'know, I could stand here all night with you and do this." You said quietly. He smiled and nodded. "I c-could too."
Stan, Eddie, and Richie sat at a table and watched you both. "Hey, your sister looks really pretty tonight," Stan said. "Yeah, and she's also Bill's girlfriend so lay off." He said. "Chill dude, I wasn't hitting on her or anything." Richie nodded. "Is someone getting overprotective of his little sister?" Eddie asked while poking Richie's side. Richie flinched. "Woah Woah Woah, for one she's only younger by like a few minutes. And for two, no, I just--okay yeah I'm getting overprotective." Richie said. Eddie and Stan started laughing at him. "Hey, if you had a sister and they were dating your best friend you would do the same thing." Richie shook his head.
"Who are you dancing with?" Richie asked Stanley and Eddie. "Dancing? I came here for the free food." Stan said. "I just came to hang with Stanley," Eddie said while watching Stan take a bite out of his snow cone. He cringed at the sight. "Dude, don't bite it. That's weird." Stan rolled his eyes. Ben and Beverly walked in. She was wearing a purple dress with white laced flowers at the end. Ben was wearing a dress shirt and pants. "Hey guys," Ben said while sitting down. Beverly looked over her shoulder and saw you and Bill dancing. She smiled and sat beside Ben.
The song changed to "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Bill looked down at you as you looked up at him. You both leaned in and kissed each other. You pulled away and smiled. You layed your head on his shoulder.

"I love you, Bill Denbrough." You said quietly.
"I love you too, Y/n Tozier." He said while pulling you closer to his chest.
Richie smiled at the sight of you both.
