"you're scared, we all are."
you are richie tozier's sister. ah, the joys of being trashmouth the second. there's just something a bit off on the way bill denbrough treats you.
this is a shitty remake of the movie, in book form. just a bit different...
It has been a month since the incident. Beverly sat at home practicing her keyboard. You and Richie went to Stan's bar mitzvah. Ben went to the library to do some reading. Eddie was at home getting over his "sickness." Mike was in the barn, shooting sheep to sell to the market. Lastly, Bill sat at home regretting every decision he made.
-time skip to two days later-
Your house phone rang. Richie obviously didn't go get it. "Y/n are you gonna go get that?!" He yelled from his room. "Yeah, yeah. Sure!" You yelled back. You picked up the red phone.
"Hello?" It was Bill's voice.
"Oh, hey Bill."
"I kn-kno-know we haven't really seen each other for a while bu-but I ju-just wanted to know if m-ma-maybe we can go on a d-da-dat-date tonight? Like at the i-ice cream p-p-parlor?" He asked, his stutter obviously getting worse.
You smiled to yourself. "I'd love to Bill. What time?"
"L-La-Later tonight at maybe 6:30?"
"It's a plan, bye Bill."
"B-Bye."

(this is the outfit you are wearing to the date)
You looked up at the clock. "11:27." You read out loud.

Henry shot at an empty glass whiskey bottle. Belch and Victor hooped and hollered. "Alright. That's my next target." Henry said while pointing to a cat. Belch gave him an unsure look. Henry motioned for him to go on. Belch walked up to the cat and picked it up. "Just hold it," Henry said while aiming. His dad walked up behind him. "What the hell's going on here?" He asked. Henry put down the gun. "Just cleaning your gun like you asked."
"You're cleaning my gun, huh?" His dad asked while grabbing his gun.
His dad got close to his face. "Dad.." Henry started. "Hey!" His dad yelled in his face. He shot the rest of the bullets out of the gun right next to Henry's foot. "Look at 'em now boys, ain't nothing like a little fear to make a paper man crumble." Henry was whimpering and covering his face.
__________
Eddie walked into the pharmacy with a cast on his arm. "Here for refills, Eddie?" Mr. Keene asked. "Yeah," Eddie said. Gretta Keene, his daughter sat in a chair reading a magazine. "You know it's all bullshit, right?"
"What is?" He asked. "Your medication. They're placebos."
"What's placebo mean?" Eddie asked. "Placebo means bullshit." She looked at his cast. "No friends, huh? Your cast. No signatures or anything..so sad." She said while rocking her fist under her eye like she was crying.
"I didn't want it to get dirty.." He replied. "I'll sign it for ya." Gretta got up and grabbed a marker. She took off the cap and stuck it on the end. She signed the word "Loser" onto the cast. She grabbed her gum out of her mouth and stuck it to the cast as well. Eddie made a disgusted face.

It was now 6:00 and you were doing final touches on your hair and makeup. You straightened your h/c hair and kept it down. You applied mascara and eyeshadow. You put on a grey sleeveless, almost turtleneck dress. You put one of Bill's flannels over it. Last, you put on your white socks and black converse. You looked at yourself in the mirror. Bill's mom came to pick you up. You heard a honk out front and you saw Bill step out of the car. He had a couple flowers in his hand. He looked you up and down. "Y-Yo-You look st-stunning." You blushed.
"Richie I'm goin' out!" You yelled and stepped out the door, closing it on your way out. "O-Oh these are for you." He said while handing you the y/f/c flowers. "Thank you, Bill." You said, blushing again. Jesus y/n..you thought. How many times can you blush in a day? Bill opened up the car door for you. "M-M'lady." He said. "S-Sorry that sounded c-cooler in my he-head." You giggled as his mom drove you both to the ice cream parlor.
"Alright, now you kids don't go have too much fun." His mom said while stopping the car, waiting for you both to step out. "Bye, mom." He said while waving. "Oh, sweetie you can leave those in here. When I come to pick you up you can just get them then, is that ok?" His mom asked you. You nodded. "Cya later, Mrs. Denbrough." You said, waving to the woman. "Let's get this party started!" You yelled a bit too loud.
Bill went up to the counter and looked at the menu. He looked at you and smirked. "One strawberry smoothie, two straws please." The employee nodded. "That will be $3.29, please." Bill handed him a 5 dollar bill. You looked at Bill. "Really?" You asked while laughing. "Yes really. Oh look, here it is now!" He said while grabbing the freshly made milkshake and the straws.
"You are so cliche, Denbrough."
"You are so beautiful, Tozier."
You looked down and smiled. Bill found a spot to sit and pulled out a chair for you. "What a gentleman you are." You said in an awful British accent. He laughed while pulling out his chair and sitting down. You both unwrapped your straw and placed it into the milkshake. "Also, how did you know strawberry was my favorite?" You asked. "I have my ways," He said while winking at you. You rolled your eyes and smiled. You looked over Bill's shoulder and saw the Bowers gang.
"Shit..don't look now but--" You started. He looked over his shoulder and made eye contact with Henry.
"Fuck.." you said, barely a whisper.
Henry and his goons got up and went to your table. He slammed his hands down on it. "Well well well, what do we got here? The stuttering freak, and the other school whore. Wait a second, one milkshake, two straws, does this mean you're on a date?" He said busting out laughing. "That's funny! Hey Y/n, How much is he paying you to go out with him, huh?" You ignored him. "You gonna answer me anytime soon?" He asked. You smiled. "Actually, I am." You said while grabbing the milkshake and pouring it on him. "Let's go." You said while grabbing Bill's shirt and pulling him out of the parlor.
You ran down the street. "We lost 'em." You said while panting. "Jesus Y/n, I can't believe what just happened!" He said while smiling. "What now? Since we can't really drink any more of our milkshake..y'know because of what happened." He said. "Bill it was like half empty it's fine." You said while laughing. You decided to just sit outside of the movie theatre and talk until his mom came back.
You talked about random stuff for the next 45 minutes. Then he said something that actually meant something to you.
"You know, Y/n, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me ever since Ge-Georgie died. You know that, right?" He asked. You smiled and hugged him. "Now I do."
His mom beeped the horn and you both came rushing towards the car. Bill opened the car door for you one last time. As you rode back to the house, his mom bombarded you both with questions.
"How did it go?"
"Did you hold hands?"
"Did you kiss?"
You both rolled your eyes and answered her questions. You arrived back at your house and he walked you to your door. You had your flowers in your hand.
"Well, thanks for an eventful night, Denbrough." You said. He nodded. "I actually have a qu-question, Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"W-Would you be my g-gi-girl-girlfriend?" He asked in a shaky voice.
"I would be honored to, Billy." You said. He pulled you into a hug and he admired your face for a bit. He kissed you and held it for about 10 seconds. His mom honked the horn, causing you and Bill to jump apart. "I-I'll see you later, Y-Y/n." He said while waving goodbye. You waved and walked inside with a smile on your face.
