"You okay, Henry?" Victor asked while he stood by Belch. He looked at Henry sitting down, leaned up against his father's car. Henry got up and walked to the mailbox that had a red balloon attached to it. The laughs of children came from the balloon. He opened up the mailbox slowly and there was a package inside. He unwrapped the package and there was his knife he lost. He pulled the trigger on the knife and the blade shot up. He stared at it carefully. He walked towards his house and went inside. He looked at the TV show his father was watching and he looked at his dad, passed out drunk in the recliner.

"And this is my most favorite part of the afternoon. Getting to know all about so many of you. Is there someone here that wants to share with us what they most enjoyed about today?" The Hostess on TV said.

"Me!" A girl said on tv while raising her hand.

"How about you?" She asked. "I liked seeing the clown!" The little girl exclaimed. "You did! You liked the clown?" The Hostess went on. All of the kids screamed "yes!" in unison. "What about the rest of you?" She asked. "I liked when the bubbles float." A little boy said. "You did? Me too." She said. "I just love watching things float."

"We all float." All of the boys said in unison. "That's right!" The hostess said while looking at the boy. " And you will too, Henry! Make it a wonderful day! Kill him!" She said while "looking" at him from the TV.

Henry looked at his dad and then his knife.

"Kill him!"

"Kill him!"

"Kill him!"

Henry put the switchblade up to his neck and pulled the trigger. The blade shot into his father's neck. His eyes widely opened. Henry pressed harder. His dad tried to fight back, but he was losing blood too quickly.

"Oh no! Give him a big round of applause!" The hostess screamed. "Well done, Henry!"

Pennywise sat with the children that were sitting around the hostess. They all chanted in unison:

"Kill them all!"

"Kill them all!"

"Kill them all!"

Beverly got up from her desk and went to the front door. She looked closely at the door and noticed it was locked up with a padlock. "Where are you sneaking off to?" Her dad spoke up. She looked over her shoulder at her father in the recliner. "Nowhere, daddy." She stammered. "You're looking prettied up." He said. "I'm not prettied up, daddy I wear this almost every day." She said faintly. Her dad motioned for her to come. She walked over to him. He held out his hand and she placed hers on his. He gripped it tightly. "You know I worry about you, Bevvie."

"I know." She said quietly while looking down at her hand. "People in town have been saying some things to me about you. Sneaking around all summer long with a bunch of boys and another girl. You both are the only two in the pack."

"They're just friends, I swear."

"I know what's in boys' minds when they look at you, Bevvie. I know all too well." He said rubbing her hand. He grabbed it tighter. "My hand.." She started.  "Are you doing womanly things down in the woods with those boys?" He asked. "No, no, no, nothing. You have nothing to worry about. I promise." She said shakily. "Then what's this?" He asked while holding up the secret admirer letter from Ben.

"It's nothing, It's just a poem." She said with worry in her voice. "Just a poem? But you had to hide it in your underwear drawer."

She tried to yank her hand away. "Are you still my little girl?" He asked in almost a shout.

"No." She replied shakily.

"What did you say?" He asked. "I said no!" She said while fiercely yanking her arm back and falling back on the ground. She rubbed her wrist. Her dad got up and got closer to her. "Get away from me!" She yelled. He got on top of her. "Do those boys know that you're my--" She cut him off by kicking him in the balls. She got up and ran into the bathroom, slamming the door.

Her dad got up and went to the bathroom door. He tried to open it, but it was locked. He walked backward and ran back up to the door and kicked it down. He walked slowly into the bathroom and pulled open the shower curtain. Beverly pulled a quick one and slammed the toilet seat down over his head. Next thing you know, Mr. Marsh was dead. The porcelain toilet seat was also broken. Mr. Marsh's blood was all over the floor. Beverly stepped out of the bathtub and looked at what she had done. She turned to walk out of the door but was grasped by the neck by the clown's hands.

__________

You looked up at the clock. "Alright, I still have about 3 hours of sunlight left. Richie, I'm gonna go to Beverly's!" You yelled while running out the door. You walked to her house. The door was open. "Um okay." You said out loud to yourself. You walked in. There was no sign of her or even her father. "Beverly?" You called out. You looked everywhere. The last place you looked was the bathroom. There was a broken porcelain toilet seat with blood on it. There was also a cold, dead, Mr. Marsh on the ground.

You started breathing heavily and you walked into Bev's room. The words "YOU DIE IF YOU TRY" were written on the walls with blood. "Beverly!" You yelled while running out of the house. You ran back to your house and shut the door behind you. You were panting and you ran upstairs. "Richie! It got Beverly." You yelled. "What are you talking about?" He asked. "It, Richie! It got Beverly!"

Eddie was sitting at his kitchen table with a red permanent marker. He was writing a "V" over the "S" of what Gretta wrote on his arm. His cast now read "LOVER" instead of "LOSER." The phone rang. He got up from the table and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Okay.." He sighed shakily.

"I'll meet you there." He said and hung up the phone. He began to walk out the door before his mother stopped him. "And where do you think you're off to?" She asked.

"Out with my friends." He responded. "Sweetie, you can't go. You're getting over your sickness, remember?" "My sickness? Okay, what sickness, ma?" He pulled his pills out of his fanny pack. "You know what these are? They're gazebos!" He yelled while slamming them onto the ground. "They're bullshit!"

His mom down at the pills then up at him. "They help you, Eddie. I had to protect you."

"Protect me? By lying to me and keeping me locked up inside this hellhole? I'm sorry but the only people who were actually trying to protect me were my friends. And you made me turn my back on them when I really needed them. So I'm going." He said while moving past his mother and making his way out the door. "Eddie, no!"

"Sorry mom, I gotta go save my friends!"

"Don't do this to me, Eddie!" She yelled.
