Chapter 2 - Pain

"YAH! They look so good together... They are my favourite collab ever", you exclaimed to yourself while smiling like an idiot.

Then you froze when you saw them holding hands... you tried controlling the anger and jealousy that was building up inside you and tried to stay calm despite you were boiling inside.

"Okay... I said that they look good together... But who gave them permission to hold hands... Just wait for Mr. Jeon Jungkook... You will get your punishment for making me jealous", you said while smiling evilly while talking to yourself.

"you are gonna be dead meat soon... I will chop you into pieces and feed your beloved dogs", you laughed to yourself while self-talking.

Then you saw their performance ended and they were heading back to backstage when the MC stopped them.

"Jungkook-ssi... Why don't you answer some of our questions which I know that everyone is having right now", MC said followed by a large amount of cheering from the crowd as MC handed Jungkook a mic.

"Jungkook-ssi... We all know that you have a girlfriend with a name Eva whom we have never seen but right now we saw you singing with IU-ssi while holding hands... Can you explain what's going on?... Because I can't understand this... Nor the audience... Won't Eva-ssi be hurt or angry after seeing this... ", MC pointed the obvious thing.

"Thank you so much... You are the only one who considered my feelings", you over exaggerated the situation while acting it out like you were wiping your tears but then you chuckled at your own silliness.

Jungkook looked down and took a deep breath before looking up and speaking, everyone was anticipating his response including you.

"we broke up... ", three words, only three words shattered your world and left you frozen at your place. "I already broke up with her. ", he casually confirmed, like it was no big deal.

"So mean you and Eva-ssi are over... I am sorry for asking about this... I didn't know", MC showed his grief but on the other hand, Jungkook replied, "why are you sorry... It's not your fault", and chuckled.

"since you both are holding hands does that mean you both... "MC trailed off a little bit hesitant but Jungkook bluntly replied, "yes... What you are thinking is right... I like IU noona a lot and we are together".

You were smirking the whole time trying to hide the pain you were feeling after hearing each and every word leaving his mouth, but couldn't do it for long.

Your anger took over your calm act, and you threw the TV remote in your hand aiming at the TV in front of you, turning the display screen in millions of pieces of shattered glass just like your own heart.

"AHHHH... WHY ME?!... WHY?! WHY?!" You screamed and cried your eyes out while on the other hand when Jungkook got off the stage none of his team members talked to him.

He felt anger and coldness in everyone's eyes so he decided to be quiet and not say anything for the sake of his life. None of them knew about the breakup and they were all clearly holding their anger because they were at an event in front of thousands of eyes.

Hoseok whispered in Namjoon's ear, "I am really worried about Eva...", "me too... She is still a kid to handle this kind of breakup... It's just cheating...  like he was waiting to break with her". They both glared Jungkook and turned away when he flashed a smile which immediately flattered by their rude behaviour.

"I can't reach Eva... She is not picking up... I am now worried to dead... How will she deal with this?!", Jin whisper-yelled to others clearly dying out of worry for you.

After award show BTS headed directly to their dorm, the ride was completely silent. On entering dorm Jungkook was heading towards his room but Taehyung charged towards Jungkook, held his arm to bring him face to face and punched him hard in his face and held him by his collar.

"HOW DARE YOU?!... HOW COULD YOU JEON JUNGKOOK?!.... HUH?!", Taehyung shouted at the top of his lungs. Jungkook got out off Taehyung's grip and stood at some distance from him and smirked.

"Why are you so upset... Aren't you happy that we broke up?!...after all now you will have a chance to make her yours... You like her... Am I right?!...or am I right?!.. You always stick around her when I should have had her all by myself... Right now more than you who might be the happiest person on this earth... Huh?! ", Jungkook said through gritted teeth.

On the other hand, you didn't know what you did wrong that he broke up with you so suddenly, it was too for you take in considering you were a sensitive type of girl who was always pampered with love and nothing else. "It hurts... It hurts so much... Why me?!... What did I do wrong?!... How could he do this to me?! I loved him so much", you kept asking yourself the same question over and over again.

The pain you felt in your heart was worse than it would have been if you were stabbed with any sharp object. The heartbreak that's what you were having right now. Your first love left you like you were nothing to him when he meant the world to you.

You were crying whole time curled up in a ball on your bed, your phone never stopped ringing. BTS members were spamming you with calls and text messages especially Yoongi.

He was like an elder brother to you, not only him everyone is, you knew they won't stop anytime soon. You know they are worried for you since you are like a little sister than just a friend, so you decided to drop a message.

Text: "OMG... So many calls and messages ... But don't worry guys... I am fine 😊😊😊...I just want to be alone for some time... Goodnight... Don't stress yourself over me😘😘😘"

You sent that text to everyone except Jungkook and turned your cellphone on flight mode because you knew they would still call and text you. You calmed down a bit and laid on your bed straight with tear-stained cheeks.

You opened your phone gallery and noticed you had more of Jungkook's photos than your own, you saw all the photos and asked the very same question going on in your head over and over again hoping to get any reply.

You opened your conversation with Jungkook and also went through his each and every message you had treasured since you both started dating. "his words felt so real all the time...LIAR... LIAR", you yelled and started crying again because all the pain came back to bring you to reality.
