Chapter 26 - Different

"she left before we could reach out for her", Tae said with disappointment while Jin patted his shoulder to console him.

"Firstly, let's go home... You all must be tired... And wait for her to return home", Tzuyu said and started walking towards the apartment since it was only ten minutes away.

Boys followed all the way while catching up with her. Everyone settled down in the living room as soon as the entered the apartment while Tzuyu served them with water.

Jungkook's eyes landed on the photo frames hung on the wall. Walking up to them he noticed they were your pictures with Tzuyu. It didn't take time for Jungkook to realize that the smile on your face in each photograph was forced.

"why is she not smiling properly in these photos as she does?", curiosity took over jungkook which made him voice his thought out.

"what do you mean by 'smiling properly' ... That's the max smile she ever gave to anybody.. Do you even know how hard it is to make her click a photograph and a lot of labour to make her smile in those photos...", Tzuyu replied from her place on the sofa not bothering to walk up to him.

"I really snatched her smile... Didn't I?", Jungkook mumbled lowly to himself.

"... But now she had softened towards me... When she came I told you how rude, arrogant and snobbish she was... She is still like that with others but not with me... Nobody likes her in our office because of her attitude... But she never interacted with them until it was work related so no one knows if she was bothered with their hatred or not", Tzuyu ended her part with a shrug.

Jungkook again faced the photos and released a big sigh and mumbled, "Mianhae (I am sorry)".

Jungkook caressed your face in the photo before facing Tzuyu and asked, "where is her room?". Tzuyu pointed towards the room in the corner of the living room where your room was supposed to be, "over there".

Jungkook's eyes followed Tzuyu's hand and started walking in that direction reaching out for your room door handle. On entering Jungkook observed the room well.

It was well furnished and at the same time simple but it felt empty. There was none of the belonging there felt like yours. "Tzuyu!!!", Jungkook yelled from the room.

"Yah Oppa!... Are you trying to make me deaf!... What's wrong?", Tzuyu entered the room while sulking followed by the rest of the boys but her eyes went wide when she looked around the room.

"where is Y/n's luggage?... No way... This is not possible... Her flight is early in the morning... She can't do that!", Tzuyu panicked which made others confused.

"do what...?", Jungkook asked becoming sceptical about the situation.

"she left... Already... With her luggage... Without meeting me... How can she do that?", Tzuyu stated feeling dejected.

"YAH!... How can you let her go?! You couldn't even take care of one thing we told you to do... What the hell were you doing when she left?!", Jungkook yelled at the top of his lung taking out all his frustration on Tzuyu.

Tzuyu's eyes were filled with tears threatening to fall any moment when she yelled, "I hate you oppa!!!" and ran out of the room, Jungkook followed her till doorsteps but stopped.

Everyone's gaze followed Tzuyu and finally returned furiously towards Jungkook. "From where did you get talent to hurt each and every person around you?", Taehyung enquired with venom dripping from every word.

Taehyung pushed Jungkook away from the door into the centre of the room and went out. Rest of the boys only shook their head in disappointment and left the room without uttering a single word except Jimin.

Jungkook held his hair and sat on the bed behind him. Jimin sat beside Jungkook not wanting to ignore his devasted state. "Kookie-ah... Get hold of yourself... You know if it was not Tzuyu... You wouldn't have been able to trace Eva down... Come to your senses", Jimin said softly.

*Jungkook was half asleep at that time and was about to ignore the messages as always but the mention of your name was enough to take away all his sleepiness*

Jungkook: why do you know anything about her?

Taehyung: no we don't have any of her pictures

T: actually I was helping Y/n in packing her stuff and found a picture of her with you all... And going through more of her stuff... I found tons of your photos with a girl who looks like Eva you guys always described...

Yoongi: she can be a fan of ours... Maybe she used to be in every event of ours... What's the big deal

T: no... I also thought the same at first but then I noticed maximum of pictures were selfies and I found the girl in those pictures a lot similar to Eva and oddly resemble Y/n... Like transformation people have after finishing school

Hoseok: send us those pictures

*Tzuyu clicked pictures on her phone and send to the group chat*

There are so many I can't send them all... She looks so different in these pictures... Totally opposite of what she is now...

Jungkook: thankyou Tzuyu... Thank you so much... Because of you, I will be able to see her again... Only because of you I will be able to meet her, show her how much I love her and convince her to come back to me

T: but oppa there is a problem

Jin: what's the problem now?... Finally, we know where Eva is and now we will get her back... Simple

T: oppa~... You are forgetting she is leaving for the USA in exactly seven days and getting track of here will become very difficult almost next to impossible

Jimin: she is right

Jungkook: we will have to hurry up with our schedule and go to the USA as soon as possible before its too late

Namjoon: yes
