Chapter 25 - Unreachable

Sitting in bed you sighed as you remembered one phrase that Lisa said 'like old days'... 'can I really be the one like in old days' with this thought constantly running in the mind you slowly drifted in sleep completely relaxed after you reconcile with Tzuyu as well Lisa. 

Next day in the afternoon, you loaded all your belongings in the car that was provided to you by the company for local travelling when you joined them.

You had an early morning flight the following day and you didn't want to disturb Tzuyu's sleep with any kind of rustling. Knowing the fact that she would wake up and make it hard for you to leave.

Keeping your two pieces of luggage, one handbag and a purse in the car... You drove off to your favourite coffee shop where you stayed whenever you need to escape all the pressure with coffee.

Releasing a deep sigh you parked your car near the coffee shop and said, "let's taste my cold coffee for the last time" and stepped out of your car.

The coffee shop was fairly deserted due to office timings which you find the best time to relax. You ordered your coffee and enjoyed your me time in the corner of the cafe waiting for your order to be collected until a text message got your attention.

[Text Conversation]

Lisa: 'do you have our old pictures?'

You: ' yeah... I do have them... But why?'

Lisa: 'great... Send them to me... Months ago i lost my phone with all our pictures and videos in it'

You: 'wait... I'll send it to you now'

You opened your photo gallery and scrolled down to photos from a year ago. While scrolling you came across your old photos with Jungkook.

No matter how hard you tried to delete them in past even though he broke your heart, you couldn't bring yourself to delete those memories which were once beautiful and most precious to you and to him.

Not only Jungkook but there were pictures of BTS as well just seeing their faces again a wave of nostalgia hit you. You found your eyes watering as you kept swiping each and every picture in your camera roll.

[Text Conversation]

Lisa: ' yah... Why is it taking so long?'

Wiping your tears and sniffing few times you typed your response.

You: 'I'll send you them later... Right now I have to go... Talk to you later... Bye'

Lisa: 'ugh... Fine... But don't forget Bye...'

You needed to calm yourself down before you breakdown so you immediately stood up and started walking out of the cafe. The counter attendant kept calling your name but you were completely lost in your thought and didn't hear any of the calls.

As soon as you left the cafe and turn towards left where your car was parked, BTS member came from the right side of the cafe and entered the cafe at the difference of a few seconds only.

You all were so close to each other yet so far away. You cried as you entered your car and drove off to beach knowing it is the only place to calm yourself down.

[Meanwhile Jungkook's side]

After landing in the USA, BTS rushed themselves to your favourite cafe with hope to find you there but when they entered the cafe, they couldn't find you.

They went to counter and showed the attendant your picture, which that lady immediately recognised.

"yes, that's Y/n... I know her... She is a regular customer here", she said. Heaving a sigh of relief Namjoon enquired further, "can you tell us where she is right now?".

"yes... She was sitting over there a few moments ago when she was scrolling on her phone and started tearing up... She abruptly left the cafe without collecting her paid drink as well", she said.

Jin took the cafe from her and said, "don't worry mam... We will give it to her". Everyone stared at him in disbelief he took a sip of your cold coffee.

In response, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "what?... We can't let her money to waste like this".

They shook there head, one by one left the cafe and stood outside when they saw a familiar car passing by them with the same number plate that was described to them by Tzuyu.

'why are you so unreachable love?' Jungkook thought within himself and stared with a frown in the direction where your car disappear even before they could make a move.

Tzuyu tapped Jungkook's shoulder panting heavily gaining everyone's attention. "yah... Why you came running?... You could have halted a taxi or something", Yoongi scolded Tzuyu.

"I couldn't find one... And I needed to reach here as soon as possible so I ran... Where is Y/n?... Did you meet her?", she exclaimed while painting.

"she left before we could reach out for her", Tae said with disappointment while Jin patted his shoulder to console him.

"Firstly, let's go home... You all must be tired... And wait for her to return home", Tzuyu said and started walking towards the apartment since it was only ten minutes away.
