Deputy Linus passes Sam a manila folder. "This is the Garland file."
Seeing Luther as a ghost made him a suspect to the Ghost Sickness that was getting passed around. In order to find out how Luther died in the first place, they went back to the Sherrif department to get some information on him.
While Sam starts flipping through it with Nadia on his side, Linus looks behind them at a swaying Dean. "Is he. . .drunk?
Nadia looked back at Dean who gave her a sloppy wink and thumbs up.

"Of course not." She gave an assuring smile.
Sam points to the file. "Deputy, according to this, Luther Garland's cause of death was physical trauma. What does that mean?"
"The guy died twenty years ago, before my time. Sorry."
"Then can we talk to the sheriff?" Nadia asked.
Linus shook his head. "Um, he's out sick today."
"Well, if you see him, will you have him call us? We're staying at the Bluebird." Sam lifts up the folder.
