Nadia pulled up to the warehouse, the stars dotting the night sky.
She got out of the car, stalking over to the warehouse door with a look of determination in her eyes.
Stepping into the cold, empty place her heart sank.
Standing in the middle of the place under the light was the nurse who was annoying her at the psychiatric hospital.
Only she didn't just see him, she could actually see his face.
His demon form.
It was like looking at someone who didn't have skin on their face.
It was horrifying.
It was one of those moments she wished she didn't just figure out another one of her abilities, supernatural perception.
"God," She walked over to him. "You're hideous."
"Thank you." He gave her a smile, which from her view was even worse.
"Please," She cringed. "Don't smile. . .God, were you possessing him before?"
"No, let's just say I was watching you from. . .afar."
"Thank God." She crossed her arms over her chest. "Now you said you wanted me, I'm here. Where's my Dad?"
"Wait, don't you want to know who I am?"
"No, I want my Dad, I want to kill you and then I want to leave."
He glared at her, obviously not happy at her lack of intrigue.
"The name's Lucan. I'm the demon that killed your Mommy."
His words finally sparked that intrigue that he was begging for.
He walked over, beginning to circle around her.
"I remember first meeting you, when I was riding your Mother's meat suit. You were so innocent. . .so scared. . .it was adorable." He slid the back of his hand down her cheek, causing her to cringe.
"Then I heard you had became an angel and it occured to me. . .your Mother had been been an angel. You don't know how good it felt to know I killed something so. . .Well I'm sure you get the point."
"And now you're gonna kill me, huh? Add it to your shelves of trophies?"
He stood in front of her, giving a devious smile. "You're smart aren't ya?"
