Part Four
Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you. ~Friedrich Nietzsche▫▫▫
Jimmy and the group got out of the Impala, having just arrived at a warehouse.
The demon that escaped Dean's wrath, now possessed Amelia keeping Claire captive in order to get to Jimmy.
"Alright, they're expecting you to come alone," Dean said to Jimmy. "That's exactly what you're gonna do."
"We'll work our way through the catwalks," Sam explained as Jimmy put on his trench coat. "We'll be right behind you."
"All you gotta do is stay calm and stall," Nadia assured him. "Let us do our job."
A panicked Jimmy looked at Nadia, "You want me to stay calm? This is my family we're talking about."
"Listen to me, this will work." The half angel said knowingly. "You understand? Nobody's gonna get hurt."
"Yeah, whatever." Jimmy waved his hand. "Give me a minute, okay?" He walked away from them, toward the warehouse.
"There's no way they're expecting him to come alone." Said Sam. "You know this is probably a trap."
"Yeah, I know," Dean said, knowingly. "That's why I have a plan."
Now a few feet away from the group, Jimmy looked at the sky infuriated.
"Castiel, you son of a bitch!" He started to pace. "You promised me my family would be okay. You promised you were gonna take care of them. I gave you everything you asked me to give. I gave you more. This is the thanks I get? This is what you do? This is your heaven?"
Jimmy was desperate, "Help me, please. You promised, Cas. Just help me."
To his dismay, the angel did not answer. He flailed his arms, shaking his head. "Typical."
Feeling like he was on his own, Jimmy walked into the warehouse to see the demon possessing Amelia standing by Claire who was tied to a chair unconscious.
"Hi, honey. You're home." The demon smiled, her hands in her pockets.
"Listen, I'm. . .I'm begging you here." Jimmy's eyes watered. "You do whatever you want with me, but my wife and daughter, they're just. . .they're not a part of this."
"Oh, they're a big part of this, Jimmy." The demon walked up to him. "And P.S. You should've come alone."
Jimmy looked at her, his eyes giving it away. "I am alone."
