Nadia sat next to Dean on the trunk of the Impala, the two sitting there in silence. Everything was so jacked up, the girl had noticed that in this whole day she had barely really had a chance to have one good moment with Dean. It was like they were together but they were apart.
All of what was going on, the stress the two were feeling, it was kind of bringing them down. At least that's what it felt like and that scared the half angel.
"The torture lasted five hours." She spoke out loud. "But when you're there, it kind of feels like an eternity. Every cut, every stab, every cackle its a nightmare. . . However, the worse part was trying to live like a normal person after that."
Dean nodded knowingly, keeping his gaze forward. "How'd you get through it?"
"A lot of crying, a lot of alcohol. . .I actually went M.I.A for almost a whole year. Well, that was until my Father found me and told me to get my crap together. He looked at me and he said 'You're a Turner, you don't quit. That's not what we do. We hunt the monsters not the other way around.' He said, 'If you quit, you're not just quitting on yourself, you're quitting on the thousands of innocent people who are going to need you to save their lives.'"
"Wow." Dean was surprised.
"Yeah. . ." She nodded before her lips curved into a smile. "I was on a case the very next day." She made him laugh.
Nadia stared at the Winchester, a look of. . .love in her eyes. They were different but yet the same. She could relate to him and he could relate to her.
They pushed each other to be better, they were willing to grow with one another and they had grown. Dean was her hero and he was her heroine.
Everything about Dean was perfect to her, especially his imperfections. The half angel couldn't imagine being with someone else and she didn't want to be with anyone else. The future didn't seem too bright and it worried her.
"Dean. . ." She called his name softly. He looked at her as she grabbed his hand holding it tight. "Dean, I'm scared."
"Why?" He was immediately worried. "What's wrong?"
"Everything that's been happening, it's a lot and I've been trying to keep a positive look out but I don't see a light at the end of this tunnel."
"Hey, hey, hey." He turned to her. "You're supposed to be the positive one." He made her roll her eyes with a smirk. "We're gonna figure all of this out."
