The bell on top of a comic book store door opened, and in walked the Winchesters and Nadia dressed up as FBI. The trio instantly earned glances from the geeks and geekettes.
Even the cashier had looked up from his comic, his face frowning at the three who approached the counter.
"Uh. . .can I help you?" The chubby guy asked.
"Sure hope so." Said Dean as they took out their badges. "Agents Deyoung, Shaw and Malone. Just need to ask you a few questions."
The cashier was weary as he started receiving questions from the three.
"Notice anything strange in the building, last couple of days?" Asked Sam.
"Like what?"
"Well, some other tenants reported flickering lights." Nadia hooked her index fingers in her waistband.
"Uh, I don't think so. Why?"
"What about noises?" Sam went on. "Any skittering in the walls? Kind of like rats?"
The guy started to get skeptical. "And the FBI is investigating a rodent problem?"
"What about cold spots?" Nadia ignored him. "Feel any sudden drops in temperature?"
The guy suddenly started to grin from ear to ear. "I knew it! You guys are LARPing, aren't you?"
"Come again?" Nadia was confused.
"You're fans."
"Fans of what?" Sam asked.
"What is LARPing?" Dean's face scrunched up.
"Like you don't know." The guy was sure they were understanding his geek talk.
Though from the look on their faces he realized they didn't know what the hell he was talking about. "Live-Action Role-Play!" He pointed to their outfits. "And pretty hardcore, too."
They looked down at their attire as Dean said, "I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about."
