Dean unwraps yet another piece of candy, tossing his wrapper in the pile between him and Nadia who was sucking on a lollipop.

The two were staking out Mrs. Wallace's house for anything unusual.

It was quiet between the two, it wasn't an awkward tension of course.

With Dean and Nadia it was never awkward, however their feelings were so strong for one another it was obvious they needed to talk.

"You know, Halloween used to be my favorite holiday when I was kid." Nadia started conversation.

Dean chewed his candy obnoxiously as usual. "Oh yeah, what happened?"

She pulled out her lollipop, smirking. "I found out monsters were real."

"Right." He chuckled.

"But seriously, I was obsessed with Halloween. One year I dressed up as The Rock."

"The Rock?" Dean scoffed, "No way, not a princess?"

"No, not a freaking princess." She rolled her eyes.

"I didn't want be a princess. Princesses have to wait for someone to save them, I wanted to save myself. Plus when I was younger I was obsessed with wrestling, I watched it with my dad all the time. I've never been to a show but just watching the People's Elbow on TV was such a thrill. I was always so excited and into it, it was like I was there."

Dean smiled, loving how passionate she was.

Could she get any more perfect?

"How do you do it?" He asked her.

"Do what?" She placed her lollipop back in her mouth.

"Smile when everything is crappy? I mean, we're hunting a witch, what is there to be happy about?"

"Everything." She shrugged. "I'm alive, I'm eating candy, I'm here with you."

The end of her sentence made him blush.

"Well when you put it like that." He smiled, unwrapping another piece of candy.

He said nothing else and looked out the window.

Nadia sighed. "What are we doing, Dean?"

"We're on a stakeout."

"No, Dean. It's obvious we have feelings for each other. Why aren't we acting on it? This flirting thing is cute but what's keeping us from taking that next step?"
