The car ride was completely silent as the Impala drove down the pitch dark road. They had just left the grave yard where they burned Barry's bones and it was obvious that Sam wasn't doing too well.
He sat in the backseat quietly, staring into space in deep thought.
Nadia looked back at the younger Winchester. "You all right?"
"Barry was my friend." Sam's voice was low and full of sorrow. "I just burned his bones."
Dean glanced at his brother though the rear view mirror. "Well, he's at peace now, Sam."
Sam rolled his eyes, thinking about the past. "I mean, if Dad had let us stay just a little while longer, maybe I could have helped the kid, you know?"
"You read the coroner's report same as us." Dean told him. "Barry was on every anxiety drug and antidepressant known to man. School was hell for that kid. His parents had split up. He just wanted out. It was tragic, but it's not your fault. To tell you the truth, I'm glad we got out of that town. I hated that school."
Sam glanced at his big brother before giving a slight shrug. "It wasn't all bad."
Dean let out a chuckle. "How can you say that after what happened to you?"
Dean's question instantly made Sam start to think about the time he helped Barry with his things after he got pushed to the ground by a bully named Dirk.
Sam ended up standing up to Dirk, which only resulted him into getting punched in the face in one of their first encounters with one another.
Instead of even replying to Dean's question, Sam said nothing. He just stayed silent.
Meanwhile Nadia was looking over at Dean wondering what happened to him at the school that made him hate it there so much.

With the case being finished, before Nadia and the boys left town, Sam wanted to come back to the school to talk to a teacher that really inspired him years ago.
Dean who was annoyed and tired of being here, pulled up to the building, putting the car in park.
"We came back here so you could talk to a teacher?"
Sam sighed, looking out the window. "He's a good guy."
"Well, whatever." Dean shrugged. "Go have your Robin Williams 'O captain! My captain!' moment."
