Strangers

Keith pov
Almost 300 years since I've been human. In the mean time I've stayed in my house. Eventually another vampire like me came along, Shiro. He got bit by a vampire before I did, he even knew  that vampire who bit me. He had come to find me and take care of me. He taught me to hunt for blood and transfer to my new life. He disappears every once in a while for his long hunts. Tonight he was gone. I was alone till I smelled flesh...human flesh.
No one comes to my house since the accident so visitors are scarce. There were campers nearby but they never came close. I got up from my seat and looked out the window. I saw a girl with (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. She started to walk toward the house. Many questions went through my head. Who is she, why is she here, is she here for me. Every time I take a breath I could smell her intoxicatingly delicious flesh. I had to control myself, since I'm not full vampire as Shiro told me, taking human blood was dangerous and could lead to consequences. But something smells familiar about her. The closer she came to the door my heart raced faster. Should I pretend no one is there or see what she wants? I started to approach the door.

Y/n pov

As I looked at the old house that no one has been near in 300 years, there was something I had to see, like something was calling me toward the house. It was an 1700 style estate. The people that lived hear must have been rich. People tried to sell the house but they were convinced that it was cursed or something. I never believed all that. The closer I reached the front door, the more scared I became. What if something is in the house or I find something I shouldn't have found. But I need to go inside.  I reached the front door and opened the door.... As I opened the door there was a male figure, I stepped back and fell in the ground. I hit my head and I started to black out, the male figure was standing over me.
Time skip

I woke up and I was laying on a velvet couch with a blanket covering me. My head started pounding as I sat up. I looked around the large sitting room, the fire place was blaring warm heat. My heart started to race as I stood up, trying to find a way out.
"I see you are up" , I heard a deep voice behind me. I screamed as I turned around. I looked and saw a young man in a suit like outfit. He had raven black hair and pale skin. I looked at his eyes, they seemed to be a greyish-purple color. They were beautiful. "Who are you?", I asked.
"You shouldn't know, no one needs to know who I am ", he replied
"Why not?"
"Because I prefer not to be known."
"You live here by yourself ?"
"For the most part"
As we talked my heart was beating, but not out of fear. There was something else.
"You should leave, before the sun comes up " he says
He walks up to me with a strange look in his eyes. But why did he not leave me alone outside?

Keith's pov
(While you were unconscious)
I picked up the young girl in my arms and brought her into the sitting room. I turn on the fire and lay her on the couch. As I covered her in a blanket, I started to stare at her facial features. Her flushed cheeks, her eyelashes, and as I started to stare at her lips I started to lean in. I stopped. What am I doing? Throughout my life I never was attracted to women, many because the ones I was around wanted my father and our money. After I lost my mother, my father never looked for a new wife. But something was different about this girl. As I cushioned her head, I felt her soft locks. The color of her hair with the warm glow from the fire place made it more beautiful. As I walked away I could hear her soft breaths as she slept. I waited in my room till she woke up. When I heard rustling, I went to the sitting room.
(The present time)
I stood over her looking into her eyes, I could tell she was looking back. I was going to lean in but I had to get her home. I offered my arm to her and walked her outside. The sun would rise soon. She looked at me before she let go of my arm.
"Thank you sir" she said in a sweet voice.
"You're welcome miss.."
"Y/n"
"Well...Good bye"
