Date night pt. 2

Keith's POV
When we first got to town we went to the coffee place y/n mentioned. I got a lactose free Carmel macchiato and she got a Carmel latte. She was so cute when she had her hair up the way it was tonight. I almost couldn't take my eyes off her.

Neither could the waiter boy staring at my date. I wrapped my arms around her waist and gave him a death glare.

"Keith what's wrong?" She asked after the boy walked away to prepare our drinks.

"I just don't like that guy looking at you." I blushed saying it.

She kisses my cheek and we sit down on a small sofa till our drinks came out. Y/n smells sweet. Probably some special perfume but either way it was kind of a turn on. As I looked out the window I noticed someone walk into the cafe. I could never forget that long white hair and dark voice.

Lotor

My thoughts drew away from him as y/n laid her hand on my knee. Her warm hand felt comfortable. Soon our drink were brought out. As we were drinking y/n talked about when we should go to the movie. I agreed to the 11 o'clock showing.

"Y/n?" A voice said above me. When I looked up I saw it was lotor. Great, just great.

"Oh hi umm Keith this is lotor, we met the other day" y/n said shyly.

"Nice to meet you"  I said with my words laced with hate.

"So you're the boyfriend she mentioned. She has an...interesting taste"

"Yeah, well she's mine and don't forget it" I raised my voice

"Keith ! Calm down!" Y/n pulls my arm

"Well I have to go but it was nice meeting you" Lotor says walking away

After me and y/n finish our drinks we drive to the movie theatre . As we get a few snacks I whisper in her ear.

"We can sit in the back row if you want"

Y/n POV

I blushed brightly as he whispered in my ear. Keith had been acting over protective tonight. From holding my waist to yelling at Lotor. I'd be lying if in didn't think it was hot because it definitely was. Maybe Keith was expecting something but I wasn't sure if I was ready.

We walked into the theatre and sat towards the because the back row was filled. As we watched the film I could faintly hear people kissing. I was kinda gross but they were soon drowned out by the laser canon blasters going (POW POW POW ).

As some of the scary parts I snuggled into Keith's shoulder and he protected me. But one part was extremely good. Two paladins were alone and confessed their love and made out on screen. It made me blush because it made me think back to Keith and me.

Soon the movie ended and Keith drove me home. We stopped in front of my house and he parked the car.

"Y/n" Keith said taking my hand

"What?"
He stayed silent until he finally spoke.

"You know I'd do anything for you right?"

"I do, and I'd do the same for you Keith"

We smiled and leaned in close...

I heard something move outside.

"Stay here" Keith gets out of the car.

Keith POV

I left y/n in the car when I walked out to the patch of woods nearby.

"Show yourself!" I yelled.

Soon a figure came into view. It was Lotor.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see your mate. Quite a delicious little thing. I'd love to take a.."

"Shut up! You hurt me before but I won't let that happen to her too"

"Didn't you already bite her?"

"You used magic on me."

"You wanna fight, half-breed?"

"Gladly"
....

Hey everyone, sorry for the wait but I've been swamped and I wanted to post this out for my man Keith's birthday 🎈. Soon voltron with be over but I will continue to write.
